Need help with multi floor elevator with recall

I’m working on a hotel that has 7 total floors, 2 block width floors with a 7 block gap in between the floors, I’m looking to build an elevator that can go between each floor and has a working recall feature, I’m perfectly fine with changing the floor height/levels to make the redstone work that’s just where I’m at now, I found a few tutorials but they were either
~ two floor maximum with recall
~ up to 15 floors but no recall
I don’t need it built in the confine square I dug out between levels, I just wanna make it work lol
