Palworld 1.0 has been out for a few weeks now, and while it’s been a relatively smooth ride for players, there have still been some issues here and there, mostly involving the game’s multiplayer. The team at Pocketpair is working hard on smoothing these issues out, as the 1.0.2 patch shows. Unlike Palworld v1.0.1, which was a tiny patch that fixed a couple of critical issues, Palworld v1.0.2 is a more substantial patch, fixing a large swathe of bugs across the game.

Crashes and Disconnections
Fixed an issue where all players could be disconnected during the Panthalus battle on dedicated servers.
Fixed an issue where players could crash during the Panthalus battle on dedicated servers.
Fixed an issue where the game could crash when attempting Japanese text input in fullscreen mode.
Multiplayer
Fixed an issue where, if a player was already in The World Tree area when the host transitioned to The World Tree area, the terrain could fail to display correctly from the host’s perspective.
Fixed an issue where the Tower Boss “Victor & Shadowbeak” could disappear after using a teleportation attack during battle.
Fixed an issue in the final boss battle where, if the host defeated the final boss while a guest was waiting to respawn, the guest’s light could fail to display correctly after respawning.
Missions
Fixed an issue in the main mission “The First Islander” where the screen could remain faded out if dialogue was interrupted during a fade-out sequence.
Fixed an issue in the sub-mission “Captured Adventurer” where the screen could remain faded out if dialogue was interrupted during a fade-out sequence.
Achievements
Fixed an issue where the “Predator Hunter” achievement could fail to unlock even after meeting its requirements.
Fixed an issue where the corresponding achievement could fail to unlock even after obtaining the required Pal Effigies.
Fixed an issue on Xbox where the icons for two Lifmunk Effigy-related achievements were using outdated versions.
Graphics and Display
Fixed an issue on Mac where the terrain graphics in The World Tree area could be heavily distorted, preventing normal gameplay.
Fixed an issue where the eye area of the player model could display incorrectly during cutscenes or certain player actions when using specific face types.
Controls
Added key rebinding for “”Attack that enemy!”” and “”Inventory””.
Fixed an issue where, when carrying over settings from versions earlier than v0.7, changes unrelated to Controls could still be treated as control setting conflicts.
Fixed an issue where assigning a player action to the middle mouse button could incorrectly be treated as a conflict, preventing the setting from being applied.
Fixed an issue where the Inventory Shortcut option was not displayed in Controls.
UI
Fixed an issue where the damage number displayed when destroying ore while mining could sometimes appear as 0.
Performance Improvements
Reduced the processing load during gameplay in Sunreach and improved performance.
