If you check the Noticeboard in Fields of Mistria, you may receive a request from Olric asking you to find Errol’s lost pickaxe in the Mines. This page will explain how to find a Miner’s Pickaxe in Fields of Mistria and what reward you get for completing the request.
Where to Find a Miner’s Pickaxe in Fields of Mistria
The Miner’s Pickaxe is located in the Upper Mines section of the Mines in Fields of Mistria, which is floors 1-20. To find a Miner’s Pickaxe, you must either use your Pickaxe or Shovel on dig spots since it is an Artifact and not a useable tool as you may initially think.
The Miner’s Pickaxe isn’t found on a set floor; it appears randomly. So, as you explore the Upper Mines, ensure you’re checking every dig spot you see, and you’ll eventually unearth Errol’s pickaxe. We found a Miner’s Pickaxe on floors 8 and 12, but your mileage may vary.
With a Miner’s Pickaxe in hand, find Olric and give it to him to receive a reward of 250 Tesserae. Olric usually hangs out at his Blacksmith shop in the northwest section of Mistria, though you can open the Map to see where he’s currently located if you’re having trouble tracking him down.
The Miner’s Pickaxe is also part of the Upper Mines Artifacts Set when donated to the Museum, so you’ll need two if you want to donate it since Olric takes it from you when you complete his request.
