How to Water Multiple Crops at Once in Fields of Mistria

In nearly every cosy game on the planet, there’s a farming element that means you have to water your crops. Fields of Mistria is no different in this regard.

Upgrading your watering can as you progress in the game is meant to make this daily task a little less grindy. Still, if you’re a new player and just managed to craft or buy the copper variety, only to find that it’s still only watering one crop at a time, you’re not alone. Up until this point in the game, watering a crop is done with a short click on your mouse. This action will continue to work on any watering can upgrades, but in order to actually take advantage of your extended liquid reach, you now need to click and hold your left mouse button. Referred to as charging your equipment, this will cause a grid to pop up, showing which crops you’re about to water.

FOMtiles

If the grid is white, it means that once you let go, every crop outlined will be taken care of. If the grid is red, it means that crop has already been watered and will be skipped. The grid will change directions based on where your character is standing. The more you upgrade, the larger this grid will become.

It’s a handy little feature worth utilising once the money and seeds start rolling in.
