Wube Software has released Factorio 2.1 on the stable branch. This update to the resource management simulator does not add new planets or technologies, but it does include more than 30 quality-of-life improvements and minor features for the base game and the Space Age expansion, including adjustments that were left pending in version 2.0.

Mixed-cargo rockets and enemy detection with land mines 🚀
Among the technical novelties is the ability to launch rockets with mixed cargo of various items, which simplifies orbital logistics. Land mines can now be used as enemy detectors, and asteroid damage is calculated based on their remaining health. The option to play Space Age without the Quality mechanical system is also added, along with new models and a pump rendering system that connects with fluid wagons.
The update that changes nothing but changes everything 🔧
Players who were hoping for new planets will have to settle for mines that act as detectors and rockets that carry a bit of everything, as if they were the suitcase for an improvised trip. Wube will continue with fixes while exploring new prototypes, so it’s time to keep watching the factory grow while the conveyor belt doesn’t stop.
