I’m Spending an Entire Year on One World | June Edition



I think Terraria players often speed run the game to Moonlord and never take their time on their worlds. I want to change that. So, over the course of a year I will be playing on this world with each stage of progression being blocked until the start of a new month. Listed below are the progression locks I’ll be facing on this journey and come next December we’ll finally defeat Moonlord!

    The Flairon and Solar Event weapon are both considered flails for the Flail-only challenge and by the wiki, as well as the Chain Knife and Guillotines among others. Plantera also drops one

    Honestly this is very bland. No farms, no epic builds, no devices, no hoiks, no all-in-one biome fishing spots, no star collecting bridge, no full map exploration, not hammering the woverworld to be able to run with the mount w/o interruptions . Just the run of the mill regular game, but longer.

    So if you want to make the crystals glow, then you use an illuminant paint, then place diamond gemspark walls behind it, and it will make what I think your looking for

    every run i ALWAYS do fishing right from the start, i actually find that when i fish pre-hardmode and get super geared up for fishing, that fishing for the hardmode ores takes me significantly less time than simply mining

    since nobody is bringing it up, Dao is pronounced as dow. so that's why the name makes sense Dao(dow) of pow. also there's a few more flairs such as the Flairon

    i guess some unsolicited advice with builds and art is most people at least myself i cfant speak for everyone, i get an idea and start with the things i already know how to do the shape takes place during the creation process

    for cool looking windows actuated grates over top look like reinforced windows and is pretty cool
    edit to add: painting actuated stone slab white makes it look similar to unactuated stone slabs

    I love when people take there time, especially now when everything's fast and speed and ADHD, not even just terraria, things in general. I love taking things slow and I rarely find people who share that vibe but this slowform run of terraria fits it perfectly.

    That's some good fucking commitment, man, Congratulations on that! I started watching your videos in late june and and this specific series made me wanna play Terraria after 12 years of it being absolutely untouched in my Steam account. I've been having A LOT of fun, and also taking my time with the game. Not putting any kind of restrictions like you to make it last, but making a fairly slow learning curve. This kind of thing keeps me going with the grind. Every time i see that i cant go any further, i watch this series and realize thst i still have a lot to go for. Keep the good content, I really wish that u get your 100k!

    Dao is pronounced "Dow", it's al alternate spelling of Tao (as in Taoism) and is meant to rhyme with Pow. It's also why the Dao of Pow has the Yin/Yang symbol, not just due to the shards used to make it.

    gemspark walls behind the crystal blocks could help with what you're going for. also using more block variety could go a long way, like instead of using stone slabs for everything you can mix in more grey blocks like stone and grey bricks and grey-painted mudstone. also using more wood types and large bamboo all painted brown is one of my personal favorite things. hope this helps 🙂

    This is the video that introduces me to your channel. Your comments about not being good at building are wrong. A good builder is anyone who can build in a game and despite how pretty or ugly it is, continues to build anyway, committed to getting better, or working with what they have when they have it. This is no different with art. All artists from my perspective hate their art because they see imperfections that nobody else sees. Instead of looking at your faults as making your build ugly or pretty or bad or good, look at them as what gives the build character.
