i was convinced winter the wind can be still was my favorite song from the game, but i was immediately proven wrong when i heard this for the first time. every time i hear it i am instantly taken back to 8th grade when i started losing friends. it reminds me of that because it sounds sad, it's very similar to what i listened to at that time and still do, and it has a more winter vibe than a fall one. more than the wind can be still.
I like the SV soundtrack but this song really stood out the most, the way it transitions from each stage with the instruments and sounds fading in & out is amazing.
This is my favorite theme in the entire game. Everything about it is perfect. The ambient rustling leaves and wind chimes slowly fading into the flute and piano. Everything comes together so harmoniously to create a piece so beautiful.

i remember when i first heard this song for the first time ingame :O it felt right at the time cuz it was fall irl for me and it was on the verge of winter (my favorite time of the year) and yet there was this sense of completeness that seeing fall again made me both lonely but yet… kinda happy 🙂
i hope to grow old and have my own house.. listining to the distant breeze of fall as the sun sets on a cool Friday evening and just enjoy the natural beauty of the country side.
This song brings back so much nostalgia of going up to Northern Ontario during the fall spring and summer, going deep into nature and just hearing the leaves in the wind. There is nothing more nostalgic then fall deep in the forest for me, away from any other sounds, just the trees the birds and the nature. This song perfectly captures that.
