Ive married Alex 4 times lol I absolutely love him.. Everytime I start a new game im like im gonna marry someone else but I just go back to Alex 😅
Identity: shane without the beer
I married Shane as a male farmer and I'm not sorry. Shane's day-by-day effort to do better means the world to me. Many, many people do not do as well as him. I don't care if the rest of the Internet doesn't understand. It's a very painful experience, depression and alcoholism, and I wouldn't wish it on any of you.
Regarding his dirty room, it doesn't bother me. I've lived with dirty people, and truly dirty people destroy every room in the house. The rest of my house slaps, so he can destroy one crappy little corner if the rest is on point. It adds personality to my house as far as I'm concerned.
Regarding the type of husband he is, I think he's sweet when he's at 14 hearts, and it's effortless to keep him there. He doesn't necessarily relapse at 14. How do you know he's not only having 1-2 beers on occasion? That's normal, and it's a valid take. I've been married to him on my perfect save file for three years. He's really not as bad as some folks make him out to be. He often expresses gratitude and satisfaction with his life. Sounds like someone's practicing what he learned in counseling.
Complete relapse into his bad habits my ass. That only happens if you mistreat him. 😒
Shane & Seb don't even show up on the graphs – and I usually go with Elliott because he's the only candidate who isn't interested in someone else and no one there seems interested in him (he and Leah hang out, but neither speak of the other in a loving, romantic way). He's safest against causing conflict amongst the other candidates and I like that for various reasons.
Man Shane and Abigail are the worst. The fact that Abigail straight up tells you she could have done better when she's mad is way out there man
I am on my first play through and have the most hearts with Shane, i was shocked to see how deep a couple of the characters went and how i identified with Shane's situation. He doesnt seem like a romantic which i like, i mean in his ten heart cut sceen my character had to make the fist move. Jury is out if i would marry him in game but very interesting character.

I am playing through Stardew Valley for the first time and I wasn't sure who to go after, given I was playing as Zhao (from Yakuza: Like a Dragon) who would clearly want to husband up. As soon as I got to know Sebastian more, I got immediately laser focused on soft frog boy. Glad to know I'm not the only one who feels that way.

I don't know why so many people hate Haley. She loves all flowers and you see her real character after the first events. Maybe we are shallow judging her so quickly :D.

You can get a poll of favorite spouses of stardew valley expanded. There a few new options. The wizard is one of them.
All the Alex haters are clearly delusional. Won't give him a chance but will do the whole "I can fix him" with Shane 😒
justice for haley………. none of you deserve her i'm hacking your game and putting my own farmer character in there so you have to watch haley be loved and taken off the market so you have to live with your realization haley is actually the best bachelorette
