Hey, hey, tale, guess what! Forget about the chest, farm pumpkins if you can when fall comes! Only pumpkins, nothing else, you must do it for the memes! Side note, i dont actually know if stardew valley has pumpkins, since ive never played it before, and youre the first youtuber im watching play it.
Ngl, had a good laugh when I realized you thought the tool upgrades are instant…
But this is why you check the TV at the BEGINNING of the day, as it tells you the weather for the NEXT day, and before you decide what to do for that day.
If you want to upgrade your watering can this really matters, because otherwise you can miss a water. So: check TV -> rain tomorrow -> water crops -> submit can to Clint THAT DAY -> rain waters crops next day -> day after, pick up can from Clint and water crops. No dry day for the crops.
3:00 fyi Leah Loves a lot Driftwood (obtained while fishing) wich is considered trash also and can be used in the recycler, happens that Leah Loves this item cheap and easy present to increase hearts with this charcater.
after your mining session consider completing the bundle of the owen in the community center easy to complete and will boost you mobility too. all my best wishes thx for the video.
8:22 both choices are good options, mushroms produce every day while bath fruits generate randomly or not every day but if you wait like 15 days in game time you can got a lot of fruits that invrease the skill of foraging, this is the main difference between one ant the other and in my opinion both are a good choice, in example mushrooms cave is very useful in the long run as when you will star cooking some mushroom recipies provide extra boosts to your character. long story short both options mushroom or fruit both are good options.
I'm not sure which fishing pole you have Tale's, but if it helps any, you can add a wooden bobber to the Iridium fishing pole along with some bait and it will increase the size of the fishing bar you have to catch fish with. Works great imo, but the bobber doesn't last to long. Good luck.
Sorry if my explanation wasn't clear enough. That's what I was trying to explain about Clint's upgrades not being ready until the day after next. It's another reason folks don't like Clint. This happens to all of us with him at some point, sometimes even after we know his upgrade timetable. On more than one occasion I've turned a tool in for upgrade only to discover I had a perfect day for mining or that I couldn't pick up my watering can for an extra day because of a town festival.
There are ways to make sturgeon and other difficult fish easier to catch. When you reach fishing level 6 Willy sells an iridium fishing rod for 7,500G, and it allows you to attach tackle for special bonuses. A trap bobber makes the escape meter go down much slower. Also, as your fishing level goes up, your green bar gets bigger. Trout soup will temporarily give you an extra fishing level for four and a half minutes.
I like to put my first sturgeon into a fish pond. They can multiply in there and produce roe for caviar.
The cave choice (fruit or mushroom) is hotly debated in the community as to which is better. Many think that getting the fruit bat cave helps you get the community centre goals, but the mushrooms are a good reliable source of energy for cave runs. Enjoying the series Tale!
6:42 a way to cheese money would be selling tea saplings. They sell for 500g a piece. To make them you need to get 2 hearts with Caroline and then enter her sunroom in her kitchen between 9am and 5pm on a day when it’s not raining. She’ll send the recipe in the mail the next day which is 2 wild seeds (crafted with the forgeables of the season), 5 fiber, and 5 wood. It’s easy money since you get wild seeds from the community center as you have already discovered. Hope you make hundreds of thousands with this!
Some fish only spawn in rain and/or in night So it's your next best choice to restore the community center if you don't want to use the wiki also go to the top left of cindercap forest (guys if your wondering why im saying this is because theres no shot he figures that out)
Been loving the playthrough so far, just binged the first 12 episodes and subbed for more. Makes me nostalgic for my first play through and figuring things out the hard way
Hope when you're back in school you keep playing, even if it's just once a week or every other week, as there's a lot to explore beyond the community center
Now that you have mushrooms in your cave you can use them to craft Life Elixers. These are good for energy/health or they sell for a decent amount in early game
there's no chance to get struck by lightning, but your crops can be struck and then they wilt. so can debris and paths on your farm. you can make a lightning rod at some point in the future which will prevent this and turn the energy into something useful!
as for the thunder startling you, you can turn off flash effects in the options menu but i don't think you can turn the noise off without turning other noises off.
the reason there was so much forage on the beach when you went isn't because it was raining! forage builds up throughout the week, more spawns each day, and if you don't pick it up it just stays there. they all despawn overnight saturday night every week though! so Saturday always has the most forageables, and Sunday always has the least.
buy those rare seeds! they're expensive but very worth it! the seed costs 1,000, but at the lowest quality the crop it grows sells for 3,000. so at minimum you triple your investment!

best way to cheese money is to know which crops sell for most lol, once you hit fall try planting cranberries and pumpkins, you can plant them in a 9 square formation with the middle square empty so that you can fill them with sprinklers once you manage to obtain more, youll also eventually be able to craft preserves jars, in go pumpkins and bam profit after a few days! also dont sleep on basic fertiliser, you can craft it using tree sap which is easily obtainable from chopping down trees and quality crops sell for much much more, just dont do what i do every playthrough and buy something stupid in the last few days of the season and end up with no money come the first of fall

Eating food will give you added skill points for a short time. Buying some Trout Soup from willy can help you catch more difficult fish

You should fish in the small pond in front of the spa (up st the traintracks.)
