Fun fact the reason why the eyes are on the top of the head and not on the side is because Moyang found it weird during playtesting that when you and the armadillo are staring at each other all you would see is its forehead but not the eyes

Didn't vote for the wolf armor, but i honestly thought the point was to be cosmetic. The fact that you can't even dye it, much less use minecraft's fancy new trims on it, just makes me question what's going on with Mojang.
What else did anyone expect? If the crab had won people would still be disappointed because the purpose of these mob votes is not to be revolutionary, but just to be a reason to have a community event. The revolution comes from the actual updates that are planned out ahead of time: deep dark, trial chambers, crafter, cherry trees, armour trims…
well hey still wolf armour and savanna gets a long needed update even if it isnt much or longer reach (just walk a little more) and swamp update the second newest place or faster boats only in ice areas also known as the least remembered place
edit: also its just in testing phase and theres a chance when fully out you can enchant it

Well i stand by my vote Crab is useful and Armadillo is a piece of crap.
The wolf armor honestly is literally just dog clothes at this point, which you could've just used a texture pack for. Wolves will still die to a creeper, which is literally the ONLY MOB that really kills wolves anyways. Literally what is the point? is it just to make sure it doesn't die to a zombie? That will literally never happen anyways unless you are actively neglecting your wolf. it doesnt even seem like the wolf takes less damage at all either way. its literally useless.

A better way of showing off the Wolf Armour would be to compare it against an un-armoured Wolf.
The Wolves still seem very weak even with the armour, it's kinda dissapointing.
I saw someone suggest 1-hit protection, where the armour will break to protect the wolf from a lethal hit (Not unlike a Totem of Undying)
Cue bedrock players whining about how making the dog armor stronger would be too op
All of the options given sucked, this was just the only one that actually added something to the game, like new functionality

Imo the armadillo itself looks fine. I thought they'd do the same armor system as horse armor though, where you could put in an iron ingot and get iron wolf armor, put in a diamond and get diamond wolf armor…You get the point. Without this customization I think the crab was the better choice. Not to mention it still dies easily which makes the armor itself useless.
