I’m Spending an ENTIRE YEAR on One World | July Edition

I believe Terraria players often speed run the game and never take their time on their worlds. I want to change that. So, I am spending an entire year on one world on the Terraria Clamity mod with each stage of progression being blocked until the start of a new month. This month I can kill Leviathan, Astrum Aureus, and Golem. Listed below are the progression locks I’ll be facing on this journey and come next December we’ll finally defeat the final boss!

January: King Slime, Eye of Cthulhu, Desert Scourge, Crabulon
February: The Hive Mind, The Perforators, Eater of Worlds, Brain of Cthulhu
March: Skeletron, Deerclops, Slime god, Queen Bee
April: Wall of flesh, Cryogen, Twins, Queen Slime
May: Aquatic Scourge, Destroyer, Brimstone Elemental
June: Prime, Calamitas Clone, Plantera

    This video felt like it was 10 minutes long, and it also felt like a longer version of a short summary of what you did during the month.
    I guess I will have to watch the streams if I want to fully enjoy the rest of this season.

    Man, that whole ocean filling brought me memories of GFB when i was making an arena for duke, wish i remembered the lava shark instead of using the shell for mobility

    If you add the wing slot mod all it does is add a separate accessory slot for wings that doesn’t support load outs meaning you only need one pair of wings

    I think I have encountered the four-way path in every Calamity temple I’ve seen. My guess is it’s a byproduct of the added generation for a substantial golem arena room size.

    Hey I'm new here so i don't know much, I just thought this channel was interesting so i watched more (mostly videos of Minecraft in the thumbnail) get mad if you want i just wanted to say I am more of a Minecraft fan and I don't really know Terraria and I think you should encourage MC fans to play Terraria is to 1 NOT SHIT ON MINECRAFT 2 say it nicer more like "in my opinion you should" not "this is better than that" ok?     Throarbin, I would recommend using sticky bombs or sticky TNT to quickly clear spikes/wood spikes. It will break the spikes but not the surrounding blocks. ❤🤘

    Great stuff as always! If it does come down to a point where the bosses are so tough you are considering lowering the difficulty I would reccomend going with QOL mods instead to make the prep work easier while not compromising on the intergity of doing the whole year on the hardest difficulty. As a viewer I would find QOL mods far less of an intrusion than straight up cranking the difficulty down a notch.

    I want to suggest filling the bestiary to the maximum possible amount for the next episodes, I'm almost sure that filling the entire bestiary before the end of the series will not work, but this may be a fun challenge that you can try!

    throarbin takes a year to beat calamity cuz he wants to take his time, I take a year cuz I can't play beat any boss without a month of grinding
