For melee: volcano, blade of grass, flamarang/thron chakran are all great choices
Ranged: I think the mini shark is better than the boomstick for this fight because of skeletrons high defence stat, so sacrificing damage for attack speed seems ideal
Mage: demon scythe, gem staff or even wand of frosting due to the debuff being actually reallu helpfull for chip damage
Summoner: snap thorn + flinx staff. Flinx have a really good AI, attack fast, and have no trouble keeping up with the boss
Don't give a sh!t for his tips I have better tips : firstly get some wood, secondly defeat the moonlord with your legendary cupper shortsword, thirdly obtain solar armour and the zenith, fourthly make sure that your defence is above 100, fifthly go to the dungeon, sixthly insult the Oldman so he'll transform into the skeletron , seventhly and lastly defeat skeletron using your legendary x pro max zenith (note : make sure to use the zenith and not your Bugatti) Thx for your time 😊
