Pokemon like Snorlax, Mewtwo and Moltres appear use the sprites from the games. Most likely Heart Gold/Soul Silver, meaning they're probably just placeholder sprites.

It seems like understandably they have all the gen 1 pokemon and a few gen 2 ones (pretty sure just the starters)
