I think you should add the visible fish mod, and the reflections mod, those are mostly cosmetic and they're cool. I guess you can see what fish are in the water, so that could make life easier for catching certain fish.

people who called you out must be fun at parties. that is the best part of coop save. but i get them because this is your first playthrough but its not illegal so just play the way you want to play i still enjoy it
So did anyone tell them about the item number for naming animals? Like [797] is the pearl, [645] is the iridium sprinkler, and [265] is seafoam pudding. You can put 2-3 item names per animal, which makes getting the museum collection way easier to get done.
Please have the wiki up when you play so every time you have a question you can look it up super easily. That will make your play through so much more enjoyable. How much is a cow? Use the wiki. What resources should you keep for future crafting recipes? Check the wiki. Then you also dont have to rely on chat which might not know the answer. You have some mods that help, which is great, so you can just use the wiki for the things you can't look up through your mods

There have been so many updates to this game through the years that the "duplication glitch" isn't really a glitch anymore, its a feature
Eventually you can craft a Crystallarium which will duplicate gems automatically. Duplicating diamonds is a feature of SDV… no need to cheat if you don’t want to.
You guys have SOOO much food and vegetables…there is no shortage of food for emergency health. Just saying…eat..ANYTHING you guys. Please 🙏
you are lucky you don't know that certain numbers can get you continuously get Prismaticshards to name yourself [74] and get prismatic shard every time somebody says your name for the first time. that is a killer cheat.
Can u place items in other people's houses it would be hilarious if u put the decorations In peoples houses as a way to get rid of them😂

The opening apology skit was so funny. Evan couldn't keep a straight face, and it spread pretty quickly to Katelyn. Loved it! You guys are so fun! As far as the "cheating" in that prior stream goes, I agree with everybody who said do what makes you happy! You aren't cheating in a competition (that would be a different matter!), or trying to claim some great accomplishment record. You are taking advantage of a glitch in a game while cooperating with (not against) each other, for your own enjoyment and the entertainment it brings to others. Whichever way you play that you find to be fun, go for it!
I have not watched a lot of the Stardew play-throughs yet, so I'm not sure what was going on at 24:18 through 24:21 or so. Evan was talking about carrots — was his character eating some carrots? His screen was small and I couldn't tell. Whatever that crunch-crunch sound was, that's one of the most horrible game sounds I've ever heard! It made me picture someone trying to chew porcelain! Completely jarring. Makes eating in Minecraft seem gentle and contemplative by comparison. The first time I heard chewing in MC it was startling in its shear cartoon ferocity, yet still not painful to hear.
From the little I've seen (and heard), Stardew Valley has such a pleasant, picturesque aesthetic, both visual and audio. All the other sounds I've heard in Stardew are either nice or downright satisfying. Katelyn's remarks about the cozy autumn vibes are spot on. So why such a sharply contrasting clunker of a sound? It makes no sense to me…. Is it just me? Does nobody else hear how awful that is?
You should rearrange your chests so they are around your workbench, that way you can craft without pulling items into your inventory. I always put everything that can be used for crafting in a ring of chests in this way and it's a game changer.
Watching you use a warp totem to home after you unlocked the mine carts hurts my soul 😭

I can't judge, I duplicated the purple cat statue like 10 times… before I'm pretty sure 1.6 got rid of that function lol. I tried it yesterday and no go.
😑 in the 1.5.6 version of stardew valley you can get an item spawner mod.and a cheat menu mod to deal with time.on console versions of this game it doesn't let you mod nor item duplicate.

I'm literally wearing one of the 'Words Are Hard' shirts while watching this!
I also play Stardew with mods and am unabashed about it: I want to actually reach the end of the game before I lose interest becase of somthing as mundane as walking speed, or the vivid colors of the soil. I tried it 4 times and never made it to the end of year 1 before giving up in frustration.
I am so glad that I wrote the coment teaching you how to duplicate! I feel like I woke up a monster but at the same time I gave you the chance to not grind so much when you don't want to. I allways use this trick when I play with my boyfriend, we do try to be carefull and not over do it but the TENPTATION IS HARD! ahahahah glad I brought you some joy and laughter. Stardew is my favorite game and I think everyone should play it the way they like <3 Sad I didn't catch this stream, hope I can make it on the next one! Love to see your content (btw english is not my mothertonngue, if I made a mistake, that's why)
You still need to learn to use the arrow keys with the Chests Everywhere/Anywhere mod.
