Minecraft is a sandbox game developed by Mojang Studios. In Minecraft, players explore a blocky, procedurally generated 3D world with virtually infinite terrain and may discover and extract raw materials, craft tools and items, and build structures, earthworks, and simple machines. Depending on their chosen game mode, players can fight hostile mobs, as well as cooperate with or compete against other players in the same world. Game modes include a survival mode and a creative mode. There is also a wide variety of user-generated content, such as modifications, servers, skins, texture packs, and custom maps, which add new game mechanics and possibilities.

  1. so glad Kevin's continuing this world, Create mod is one of the best mods I think. It's like redstone, but it feels easier and more intuitive to learn because it's very visual

  2. I hope the tree in the house stays. I think it can be like part of the legacy of the forever world. Also Kevin, you might like an automatic chicken cooker. I can't remember if you've ever made one before….

  3. Hey there friends. How’s it going. ________________.

What’s your name? How am I supposed to watch this video if I don’t know your name? My entire day is ruined….

  4. Some ideas, tips, and a mod recommendation, because Create can be a bit much when you're getting into it:

For starters, JEI is an absolute must-have mod. The recipe book in the base game is useful, but only shows crafting table based recipes, and recipes that you've unlocked. Create adds many different ways to process items, such as the fans in your basement; these crafting recipes will be visible in JEI, but not in the vanilla recipe book. JEI can, for instance, show you that meat can be cooked by fan, by blowing the air in front of a campfire.

Creating andesite alloy in a crafting table is inefficient, instead, use a mixer over a basin, with one andesite, and one either iron or one zinc nugget to create an andesite alloy. This gives you the same andesite alloy at half the cost of crafting it.

The automated farm you brought up at the end is very doable in Create, a windmill bearing and sails (or a mechanical bearing, if you want more precise speed control) can spin structures. Spinning structures with mechanical harvesters on the front will harvest and replant fully grown crops. Placing a chest, or barrel on this contraption will cause all items picked up to be picked up inside the container. Block-based crops, like pumpkins, however, are harvested with mechanical saws. Make sure the entire contraption is glued together.

Blaze burners are going to be absolutely essential. Craft an empty blaze burner with iron sheets and netherack, and then either right click a blaze, or a blaze spawner to fill it. Place one of these under a basin, and feed it a fuel item, such as wood, charcoal, or coal to activate it. While active, you can mix copper and zinc to create brass. Brass is like andesite alloy for the entire next stage of the game.

Cobble stone can be milled or crushed into gravel, which, when washed, produces a small amount of iron nuggets. While slow with your current set-up, iron can be fully automated, and on that note, so can andesite alloy. There are plenty of tutorials on Youtube, showing you exactly how to build these automated farms.

I've been really loving this series so far, and I hope it goes long enough for you to get into the crazy stuff that Create can offer, like elevators and trains. Keep up the good work, and continue asking questions, it's the only way to get better

  5. Been watching your last one over and over and was hoping you played more. This is a great series so far! It made me come back to Minecraft after years of never thinking about it. 😂

  6. I hope you were joking about "I am not offended at all" and roasting stuff because we all love you so so much, Kevin!! When you enjoy doing something, whether it's playing or singing or playing drums, we enjoy it as well, twice as much. Keep doing stuff that brings you joy. We are here to support you

  7. i came on here to look for a podcast to sleep to, this was the first video on my recommended and now im not going to sleep for another 40 mins and 40 seconds. Thanks Kevin

  8. In hopes you see this you can only hop on an untaimed horse with nothing in your hand. So the reason why the apples worked was you fed the horse all the apples and it left your hand empty.

  9. I LOVE MINECRAFT
I've been playing a much more modded world that I've been really enjoying. I really like exploration, so naturally I picked a modpack where there is literally nothing except dead trees and dead grass (like fallout, but more boring than a desert)
I have a wonderful indoor grove where I kiss frogs and wonder where the villagers ran off to. They enjoy wandering out into the wastes
Also I have so many bees that I'm able to extract lapis from their honey
