Terraria’s Ocean Needs More Content. #terraria
out of every biome in Terraria I would say that the ocean biome needs the most new content hear me out the ocean is one of the coolest biomes in Terraria the entire theme of the area is awesome and there’s unbelievable potential for great content as of right now though all this biome really offers is Duke Fishron and sharks aside from that there’s really nothing to get out of the ocean no good weapons no armor not even good building materials even some simple structures like a few islands or a sunken ship would be a great way to offer more depth to this area i personally love the ocean in Terraria and I wish it had more content to offer

Calamity mod did soo good with the sulphuric sea
I would love features in the ocean and desert that would make it almost obligatory in every playthrough,as most of the biomes have these little needed things when you're playing
It needs to be bigger, infact we should get an XL world option that adds a unique thing to every biome like small islands for oceans.

I think the biggest problem with adding more stuff like structures is that it’s at the end of the map and there’s not a ton of room for stuff
Even in modded where they add a bunch of content to the ocean I only ever go there because I need to.
I feel like they should extend the ocean and beach so it feels more like, ya know a ocean

just like how one ocean has that wrird extrusion underneath, the other needs to have some kind of entrance to a sunken coral reef, using the coralstone blocks and furniture
They should just extend worlds, if possible, to a default for all world sizes, to expand on the ocean

Is it not supposed to be relatively empty? The desert is in the middle of the world and offers little; it needs content. Oceans are very far away and serve as the borders, not your local loot market. It is desolate and could use a little more, but nothing crazy.

the desert needs a boss. the forest has king slime and the ice biome has deerclops but the desert and sky are some of the only biomes without bosses
What if underground buildings?
The undeground ocean biome has alot of natural holes in it's generation. Maybe adding some sunken buildings would be nice

You forgot the most important part duke fishron but yeah some more content would be nice but I feel like with the technical limitations of terraria might might have to wait until terraria 2

Ocean can get more stuff once we get a Desert boss.
