Add a rug maybe?
You could do some floor designs with stairs and matching blocks, etc. same with the ceiling. I usually fill my floor with a crafting table in the middle with stairs around it so it dips down
How about a glass display? Could be a large map, or those void with candles thingies that are lovely. Could also add firefly bushes hidden for the particles if you’re on the last version
Since I see this looks like an alchemy lab you could do a round table with decorations like candles or pots, or a mini fountain with waterlogged stairs
