This is going to be awesome. Me and my friends have been invited to this tropical paradise and we’ve got this resort all to ourselves. Although, I do wonder who invited us all here. And you guys certainly don’t look like you know either. What do you think, Guido? Uh, Guido, he’s probably recharging his batteries or something. Guido, Guido. My robotic companion, Guido, has just been murdered. And it’s up to me to find out who did it. These are the suspects, but can you figure out who took out Guido? This is brutal. I can’t believe someone would do this to Guido. Well, come on, guys. Admit it. Who did it? I don’t have time for this. Hey, where are you going, Katie? What about you, Billy? Huh? Uh, I never saw Guido. Oh, yeah. Sure you didn’t. You’re the biggest bully in the multiverse. Of course you. And you two. You’re supposed to be my best friends. You haven’t even reacted to Guido being dead. Oh no. What a surprise. Yeah, we should go to Thrieve or something. H. They’re acting really sus, too. And I guess that leaves you, Sergeant Shaw. What do you think about all of this? I have nothing to hide. I’ll go see what I can find. Okay, so what you’re saying is all of you are leaving. And that makes all of you really, really sus. But it also makes me super alone. Weo is my best friend, my companion. You’re never alone, my sweet little Stevie Kim. I can’t believe they all left. So suspicious. Don’t worry, my love. I’ll help you. My ex-girlfriend, Lily. Well, I guess I do need a helping handing this. Wait, so where did you get that detective outfit from? Where did you get that detective outfit from? Ah, fine. You can help me. You search that side of the room. I’ll search this side. We’re looking for evidence. Nothing under the bed. Nothing near these plants. Maybe something closer to the body on this desk. H. But that’s empty, too. Steve, look what I pulled out of Guido. Is this helpful? Oh, is that Guido’s eye? That is so gross. How could you do that? You desecrated Guido’s body. Guido would want to help, right? And look what it can do. A scanner. Okay, this actually might be helpful. Lily, hand it over before you hurt yourself. or more importantly me. Okay, let’s see what we can do with this. No way. It actually worked. The scanner has revealed these secret footsteps and they’re leading to this window. This must be where the killer escaped. Oh, Steve, you’re so smart. Oh, adventurers. Lily’s going to try to flirt with me throughout this investigation. I must maintain my professionalism. There’ll be time for that later, Lily. Follow me. The killer must have murdered Guido and then made their escape this way. They went out onto the main street, but they weren’t counting for the fact that they’re trailing Guido’s blood all the way to the water park. That’s the first clue for our investigation. Stay close to me, Lily. The killer could be around any corner. There, Katy the hater. Go away, dork. I’m busy. Yeah, you’ll be busy when I put you in a nice cold prison cell. I mean, look, adventurous. It’s so obvious. She is absolutely drenched with Guido’s blood. Get her to come over here, my love. I have a plan. What? Leave the suspect out of the area. You’re crazy. No way. I’m going to cut her off behind these slides. Got to be quick. Come on, Steve. Come on. Stop. In the name of the law. What the heck is that? Oh, those endrails. Oh, wait. No. I think they’re just pool noodles. I think the multiverse. You know what, adventurers? Maybe Lily actually has the right idea. But to lead Casey over there, I am going to have to cut her off. So, I’ll head down the slide. Woohoo! Jump off the giant’s inflatable. Wa! And then divert her to the other entrance. You’re up, Lily. Oh. Uh, yeah, that looks like it hurt. Well, nice job, Detective Lily. Now we’ve got Katie exactly where we want her. I’m confiscating your skateboard. Unless, of course, you admit that you killed Guido. I didn’t kill Guido. What? What? But all of the blood. Guido’s blood. What? This isn’t blood, doofus. It’s paint. Wait, it’s paint? Okay, Katie, you better tell us exactly what happened. I’ve been doing my own thing, letting the whole resort know how much you suck. Haha, Katie, very funny. I guess that explains the paint. But did you even see Guido while you were doing your painting? I saw him go back to your room before I came outside. H. And that’s where the body was found. Anything else suspicious? Well, Billy was staring at your window, but he ran off after that. I think he was saying something about going to the beach. The beach? Luckily for us, we’re really close. Uh, Lily, if you wanted to take a dip or anything before we headed off, you know, just to keep yourself refreshed and your mind sharp, uh, now would be the time. Steve, you blurred. We don’t have time for that. Let’s get to the beach. Uh, okay, sure. By the way, Katie, I’m sorry, but uh, your skateboard is mine now. Thanks. Thanks to Katie, we now have a new number one suspect. Billy the bully. Oh, this is low even for Billy. He’s ruining these poor villages beach party. Take that, loser. He’s destroying sand castles. You know what, adventurers, let’s just ask our questions and get the heck out of here. Looks like Billy’s got two of his strongest goons as well. Hey, Bozo, I’m running an investigation and I need to ask you some questions. Why should I help you? I don’t even like you. Oh, why you little? I should Okay. Okay, let’s just let’s just calm it down here, guys. We can deal with this situation an entirely different way. How about this? You seem to love destroying things, Billy. But what about making stuff? I’m thinking a sand castle build battle. If I win, you tell me everything you know. But if you win, well, I guess your goons can beat me up with their giant baseball bats. Unless, of course, you’re a chicken. Okay. Okay. Sorry. Sorry, I got a bit too far there. You think you can out build me? Fine. Tallest sand castle wins. All right, Billy. So, you’re telling me I’ve got all of this space? Yeah, I think we can do something with this. So, when do we start build? Oh my gosh. You snooze, you lose, loser. That’s not fair. You didn’t say we could stop. Oh, fine. All right, Detective Lily. We don’t have a lot of time. I’ve got to build the best sand castle in the entire multiverse. Let’s start off with basic sand. We want to keep it simple down at the bottom. We definitely don’t want to place them higher up because then obviously it will fall down. Okay, so we’ll make the foundations just like this and then we’ll build it around this way. And now I think we work in the uh sandstone here. Yeah, nice bit of layering here. Look at the texture adventurers. That’s something that Billy’s build doesn’t have. All right, so let’s just build this up. Maybe some Hey, hey, stop that. Come on. This is I put a lot of effort into this. Oh, that is so unfair. Well, square one again. Let’s try and make this quick. The last thing we want is to run out of blocks or time. Okay, this is actually looking pretty good. We’ve made more progress than last time. And we’ve got these little turrets up here, too. Uh, what in the multiverse are you guys doing? Adventurers, they’re surrounding my entire base with fans. Are you uh trying to keep me cool on a hot day or Oh, no. No, no, no. Please. I put so much effort into this. Oh, adventurers. I don’t think I can hold on any longer. Well, there goes my progress again. And Billy’s progress is going better than ever, but I’ve still got some materials. I can still win this castle number three. Let’s get this going. I might have to sacrifice some of the texture because I ran out of normal sand and sandstone, but I don’t know. I think we can make this work. And there. It’s simple, but I got to say I’m proud of this one. And there’s no sign of Billy’s goons either. What in the multiverse? No, no, no. My castle. Stop. Oh my gosh. Avengers, this is terrible. And where the heck did they even get tanks from? Well, Lily, I think that’s it. It’s over. I’ve got no time to build anything else. And Billy’s castle, well, it’s just so much better than mine. If only I could build things faster. Hold on a second, adventurous. I do have this. I wonder. I saw the way the blocks were flying in the air. If I use Katie skateboard to build enough momentum, I can use that energy to build a castle even better than Billy’s. Here we go. Oh my gosh. Yep, it’s definitely working. Uh, I think I could have built something better all by myself. This is awful. It’s barely even a castle. It’s just like a really big wonky uneven tower. I’m never going to find out what happened to Guido. My castle is so much cooler. I totally win. Wait, actually, Billy, you remember what you said, right? You didn’t say the coolest castle wins or the best castle wins. You just said tallest sand castle wins. Your castle is only 26 blocks tall. Whereas mine is 48. That means I win. What? No fair. Now spit it out, Billy. What exactly were you doing spying on Guido? Okay. Okay. I did see Guido, but I didn’t kill him. I was trying to figure out where you jerks were going today so I could mess with you, but Guido saw me, so I ran away. Hey, wait. So, if Guido saw you outside, that means you weren’t there to kill him. It can’t have been you. Did you see anything else suspicious? Maybe someone was with Guido? No. Guido was alone when I saw him. But when I got to the beach, I saw Sergeant Shaw sneaking back to the resort. He was acting weird. Uh, like he was wearing a disguise or something. No, he was wearing a towel. Uh, Billy, we’re on a beach resort. What’s so suspicious about a towel? I’m not sure, but he clearly didn’t want anyone to see him. Hm. The plot thickens. Detective Lily. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but add Sergeant Shaw in a towel to the evidence board. He is our next target. Well, Lily, we’re back to where it all started. Sergeant Shaw’s last known location was over here. The elevator lobby. Hey, look. The elevator is upstairs. Maybe Shaw’s up there. Interesting. He’s already trying to make some distance away from us. Come on, Lily. We’re heading up. Should we smooch? No. Okay, we made it. Now we just need to w Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! Slow down, Lily. You’re seeing that, right? That is a security camera. They’re watching this hallway. Wherever Sergeant Shaw is, he clearly doesn’t want us to find him. Why else would he set up all these cameras? Okay, whatever we do, we cannot step into the radius here. We need to travel all the way down until we reach Sergeant Shaw’s location at the end of the hall. So, let’s take this nice and carefully. Okay, this actually might be a bit of a problem. Oh, Lily, hurry, hurry, hurry. Okay, that was a close one. So far so good, but this seems pretty much impossible. My love, watch this. They zoom in on whatever moves into frame. We can make our own blind spots. Lily, that is so smart. Okay, keep that one there. I’ve got plenty of things for us to distract the next camera with. Hey, what do you do with those security tapes? I’m coming. I’ll be taking this. Where’s my taser? When did it Oh, dang it. Wow. You were going to zap me with your taser? That must mean whatever is on this tape is very incriminating. No. Please don’t play that tape. How could you, Sergeant Shaw? You murdered my best friend, Quido, and now I’m going to catch you in the Eggs. What the is that? Sunburn. I fell asleep in the sun and got this embarrassing burn. I didn’t want anyone to see it or they wouldn’t take me seriously. So, I decided to get rid of the evidence. Another dead end. Lily, we’re never going to find out who killed Guido. It’s not over just yet, Stevie. There’s cameras all around the resort. Oh, yeah. And we’re in the security room. So, we can check every single one of them and find our next suspect. Let’s see here. No, nothing there. And certainly nothing on this one either. Anything suspicious on the Hold on a second. That’s not any of my friends. That’s someone new. And they’ve got Quido’s body. Wait, where are they going? Detective Lily, we must find that tree. The problem is every single one of these trees look exactly the same. It’s going to take us forever to find out where the suspect is. What do you think, Lily? Do you think we can find it? Oh, we’ll never find it. Well, I’m going to work on my tan. Shh. Fine. I guess I’ll just find this by myself. There are the cameras, adventurers. So, all we need to do is cross reference what I saw on the camera in the security room with where these cameras are pointing. Hm. This doesn’t look like what I saw before on the security footage. No sign of the tree. Wait. Okay, this one could be it. Hm. But maybe not. It is a little scrawny. And I don’t remember the tree the suspect went under having a bunch of grass around it. Maybe this camera will wait. I see it. adventurous. Look, it’s not on the grass and it’s the same thickness as the one I saw on the security footage. This is it. And here it is. The key thing I’m noticing right now is that this is the only tree to have actual coconuts on it. Most of them have those cocoa beans. So, I’m guessing the way inside has to do with the coconuts. Maybe I can knock them down. Oh, but I’ve got nothing to knock them down with. But we do have this a pool noodle. Oh, yeah. Katie was throwing these at me earlier. I just aim carefully. Just got to aim. And come on. Come on. Come on. Oh, yes. It’s actually opening. How does that even work? Unless this isn’t actually a coconut. It’s a target block. Another genius idea by my Stevie. But it’ll count for nothing unless we find this killer. Finally, I’m going to meet one-on-one with this stranger who has got to be the killer. Look, Lily, they’re right there. It’s time to find Quido’s murderer once and for all. It’s Chris. Steve, it’s not what it looks like. Can’t believe this. One of my closest friends. You better get explaining, Chris, or I’m going to pull noodle you. That’s right. I’m Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. I can explain it. Austin, you’re in on this as well. Um, sort of. What? Well, if you shut up, I got to explain it. Okay. Sorry. Yeah, please do. Chris and I left a bit late because I forgot my floaties. When we got outside, I saw these huge coconuts and really wanted one. Austin asked me to knock one down, so I jumped up and punched it. But it’s revealed this secret room. We found all these scary screens watching your room, and Guido was already dead. Since we don’t know who the murderer is, I wanted to keep Austin safe down here. But Austin wanted me to grab Guido to see if we could fix him. Yeah, that’s right. I thought Guido could tell us who killed him. Wait, wait, wait. There’s just one key detail we’re missing here. Chris, why the heck are you dressed like that? You look like a necromancer. Bro, I’m trying something new, Steve. Stop judging people. Well, you may as well finish fixing Guido up. Here’s uh one final part, the scanner. And when you do fix him, it’s not going to bring him back to life, but at least his body will be repaired. Isn’t that right, Lily? Uh Lily Austin, did you see Lily leave? Or wait, do you have a girlfriend again? Listen guys, just fix him up and bring him back to where we found the body. I think I know who did this. Bye, Steve. Will you fix my friend already? It’s a cruel, cruel world out there, adventurers. And it brought me back here to the room where it all began. But now that I’ve got all of that out of my system, it’s time to reveal to you who did it. Killers, I’ll slice them right here, right now. Jeez, Detective Lily, just calm down. Okay, I’ll get to it. Let me tell you all exactly what happened. The murderer has to be the person that invited all of us to the resort. Remember, none of us knew who this was. It’s the only explanation for how they had a secret room ready and the camera that was watching my room. It was in the secret room where they hid out, waiting for everyone to exit the guest rooms and enjoy the resort. But they needed a weapon for their plan. And sure, that’s where your taser went missing. They took it. They waited for Guido to be alone. Billy, that’s what you saw when you were looking through Guido’s window like a little creep. They thought they had picked the right moment when Guido was facing away. But Guido was too fast. He turned into a sword and messed the killer up. That’s why there was blood everywhere. Now, you may be wondering, how could this even happen? How did Guido have superhuman reaction times, or I guess super robot reaction times, to manage to hit the killer even though they snuck up on him? That’s because Guido wasn’t the original target. I was They were trying to get to me. So, the murderer used Sergeant Shaw’s taser to shut Guido down. But when they heard me coming, they ran out of the window. Remember the footsteps? To escape out into the park. The footprints led us to believe that the killer had headed to the water park. But in fact, they walked all the way around the front of the building, looping back on themselves until they walked straight back into the room. Does that sound familiar? Lily, you’re never alone. My sweet little Stevie Kim. Me? Stevie Kim? I would never. Now, now, Lily, before you make your excuses, I can prove it. Oh, yeah. Just as I thought, you got pretty messed up in that fight with Guido. Whoopsie. Just as I suspected, Sergeant Shaw’s taser. I admit it. I wanted to kidnap you and bring you to my cozy secret room so we could be alone. Stupid Guido was the one who came back instead. I figured if I killed him, I’d have you all to myself. Why do you even need that piece of junk anyways? You have me, Steve. We did the taser bring you back. That’s right, Steve. I’m back online. It’s good to see you again, friends. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Yeah. Are we forgetting that Lily killed Guido? How do we punish her? Party time. Woohoo. And you’re not invited, Lily.

Minecraft is an open world game that has no specific goals for the player to accomplish, allowing players a large amount of freedom in choosing how to play the game however, there is an achievement system. The gameplay by default is first person, but players have the option to play in third person mode. The core gameplay revolves around breaking and placing blocks. The game world is essentially composed of rough 3D objects—mainly cubes—that are arranged in a fixed grid pattern and represent different materials, such as dirt, stone, various ores, water, and tree trunks. While players can move freely across the world, objects and items can only be placed at fixed locations relative to the grid. Players can gather these material blocks and place them elsewhere, thus allowing for various constructions.
