Terraria Boss Fights Tier List! #terraria

Terraria has some great boss fights and some terrible boss fights, but where would they all fall in a tier list? Here’s mine. King Slime D tier. This fight is okay, but there’s nothing really special about it. The Jel Hook is also the only good item dropped by King Slime. I have Cthulhu A tier. While this fight is simple like King Slime, it provides a much bigger challenge. It’s also the most iconic enemy in the entire game. Eater of Worlds, Ctier. The Eater of Worlds is honestly pretty irritating when fought in the underground corruption. It’s not bad in the overworld, though. Crane of Cthulhu, Btier. way more enjoyable than the Eater of Worlds. I absolutely love this attack near the end where he creates a bunch of illusions of himself. Queen B A tier. Queen B is a very generic boss. She dashes, shoots projectiles, and flies around, but at the end of the day, she is still pretty fun. Deerclops F tier. No explanation needed here. Skeletron S tier. There might be some nostalgia bias here, but Skeletron is the first truly amazing boss in Terraria. Wall of Flesh S tier. He has the most unique gameplay of any boss in the game, and he has some phenomenal drops as well. Subscribe for part two.

Terraria has some great boss fights, so here’s my tier list!

  1. Deerclops at F tier is insane bwuh sadly no phase changes but if you know what pattern she has its at least a C tier :c, Skeletron is NOT that fun to be in S tier,,, like sumthing like B~A tier i suppose.

  2. I think skeletron is a bit too high i get its iconic but its kinda hard in the stage you fight him in the game as this is one of the first bosses in the game and its the first one that is acutally hard id say a-b teir

  3. I really like king slime, he has some charm and I think the mount and the ninja gear is good. I agree with wall of flesh though. It’s an incredibly unique boss, and the fact that defeating it brings a whole new stage of the game is so creative.

  4. My opinion:

    King Slime – D Tier
Eye of Cthulhu – A tier
Eater of Worlds – C Tier
Brain of Cthulhu – S Tier
Queen Bee – C or B Tier, idk
    Deerclops – F Tier
    Skeletron – A Tier
Wall of Flesh – S Tier
    Queen Slime – B Tier
    The Destroyer – F Tier
    Skeletron Prime – A Tier
    The Twins – S Tier
    Plantera – B Tier
    Golem – D Tier
    Duke Fishron – S Tier
Empress of Light – S Tier
    Lunatic Cultist – C Tier
Moon Lord – S Tier dont even

  5. Eater of World can be VERY satisfying to fight. At least when fighting on a lower difficulty with the right weapon (seriously, try out fighting him with the Vilethorn, it’s so satisfying)

  6. My ranking

KS: C, simple start good items, medium difficulty
EOC: B, fun fight, really good loot, medium difficulty
EOW: C, can get annoying, really good loot, easy difficulty
BOC: B, fun fight, really good loot, medium difficulty
DC: B, really fun fight, bad loot, medium-high difficulty
QB: A, really fun fight, good loot, medium difficulty
SK: B, fun fight, medium loot, medium difficulty
WOF: B+, fun fight, really good loot, difficulty depends on arena can be hell or piss easy

  7. is EOW even a boss? im not even kidding I had far more trouble with zombies than him. All i use to fight him is the slimy saddle and vilethorn and atleast 20 defense, no arena, no MOVING, and on MOBILE expert mode

  8. Excuse me, Slimey Saddle? Incredible vertical mobility, allows you to flat out cheese several bosses, doubles your fall speed and allows you to reach incredibly high locations on demand.
Also I've never understood the clopsie hate. He's an awesome boss, has one of my favourite reasons to be in game (DST slaps!), his drops are great (I will die on that hill, pewmatic is a great ranged weapon, lucy is the best axe in the game, chester is a superiour money trough), he gives an actual BOSS to the snow biome and has like ONE annoying unpredictable attack, what a tragedy!

  9. i understand why deerclops is placed where he is but i don't think it's fair to just say "self-explanatory" and move on. even if you want to say it's self explanatory, putting it so low should still at least have the reason mentioned, it makes the presentation of this list feel pretty unprofessional

  10. Slime saddle is one of the best items like in the entire early game, viable until the moonlord, so I think that’s the best king slime drop.

  11. Slimy saddle is good and depending on arena design is good even into hard mode. I have used it against the Moon Lord. I usually get really high with wings for that fight because dodging is much easier for me in the air and that increased fall speed is really good for distancing.

  12. Putting King slime in D for being simple and not challenging and then putting Skeletron who is literally a head with hands in S tier is clinically insane.

Also, what kind of masochist fights EoW underground 💀

  13. Personally, I dislike the Slime Hook and Web Hook.
The multi-hook part just sucks to me. I don't like it.
I'd much rather only have one hook.

Hook of Dissonance is best in the Game.

  14. "King Slime is a simple boss, with no good drops! D Tier!"
    "Anyway Skeletron is S Tier."

King Slime jumps around, summoning slimes, teleports if you get too far, and shrinks as the fight goes on.
Skeletron floats on your general direction, and sometimes spins in your general direction.

King Slime drops the Slimy Saddle and the Slime Hook, and on Expert you also get the Regal Gel or whatever it's called which is great for early game builders. The Ninja Armour is also at least decent. You can also get the Slime Gun which is a funny gimmick, and the Solidifier which can make a whole block and furniture set.
Skeletron drops a hook that's sorta mid for when you get it, and a mediocre spellbook. And in Expert he drops what is widely considered to be the worst Expert accessory. And that's it. Nobody has ever decided they wanted to refight Skeletron for the drops unless they're like- On some accessory damage, or all spellbooks gimmick run.

  15. Deerclops really just need a little improvement to be amazing.

Like most importantly, change the shadow attack in a way that it’s fair and dodgeable.

And the other issue is that it has a ton of health for the few repetitive patterns it has, i know it’s supposed to represent kinda like the don’t starve combat, but it just has a lot of health and the 3 attack pattern gets repetitive quickly.

  16. Fighting the eater underground is perfectly valid – on Classic mode, grappling to a block and swinging the Blade Grass genuinely wins the whole fight. On Expert and Above, being under ground makes the Eater fire its most effective attack, the vile spit, far less often and you can avoid in there better than you'd think

  17. Skeletron is super boring imo.
It's just 3 floating hitboxes that move at medium speed and are incredibly easy to dodge.
After you destroy his hands, it's just circle simulator (or go-back-and-forth simulator, depending on which you prefer).
I personally think Skeletron is more simple and boring than King Slime.
