Ballon pufferfish. Even in get fixed boi where this is your first ballon. You're better off taking a grav potion and going to a sky island to fish up all the balloon you need for the bundle of ballons… which the pufferfish can't actually be used for.
Stepping stool is bad. It can be useful only in very peculiar cases, and even so, there are better alternatives. Even shackle can be more useful than stepping stool. I would rather have empty accessory slot, than use stepping stool.
Since flower boots don't let you obtain bait anymore I think they should work in vanity slots. Because the effect is really cool and I do really like it but It's obviously not practical

People who say shackle and frog legs are bad just because they are early game items should remember that these items are for new players who still have that sense of wonder around being in a new world.
Flower boots are actually pretty useful just build yourself in a small box (so no enemy can hit you) stand on grass (so the flowers can grow) shoot a flare with the flare gun under you so it’s constantly breaking the flowers and just catch the insects so you basically have like unlimited bait (idk if this was patched out or not but I know that I was possible)
I would say in terms of practicaly uses the flame walker boots are even more useless. at least the flower boots spawn flowers that you I think could get bait from, albeit very slowly, and I saw CreativelyJake say that you can use them with blue solution to get mushrooms by using jungle grass. however flame walker boots are COMPLETLY cosmetic. Although now that I think about it there are a lot of cosmetic only accessories like the capes or the ginger beard. Anyway great vid!

Shackle comes in clutch since you can get so many of them and you’re bound to get one with warden so 5 defense free. I got one my second night.

frog leg massively boosts wing speed and can be upgraded into amphibian boots
You dont rank them based on their acquiring difficulty but on how much should you waste a slot on them

The shackle is great for mages if you can’t dodge for the mana cuff but the step stool is easily the worst
