True Nights Edge VS True Excalibur in Terraria. #terraria
Which weapon in Terraria is better, the True Knight’s Edge or the True Excalibur? Let’s compare the two weapons and decide which one is superior. I think that for boss fights, the True Knight’s Edge is clearly better. Since it has a longer projectile, it allows you to stay much further away as you deal damage. A big issue with the True Knight’s Edge, however, is that the projectile itself feels very delayed. This is possibly the clunkiest weapon to aim with in Terraria now, and sometimes it does make me miss the old version. The True Excalibur, on the other hand, excels in crowd control. It’s also far more consistent since it has one fast short-range attack that deals a lot of damage instead of an inconsistent projectile. These weapons are both great, but ultimately I would give the win to the true Excalibur.

They are both good weapons.
I prefer True Excalibur for all. Even bosses
None, I just turn them into Terra-Blade
i dont see a huge difference considering i usually get the terra blade fast

I used the True Excalibur in Plantera's second phase and I CHEESED it

The true knights edge isn't inconsistent, it's just locked to the player's motion as well as it's own force moving it in the direction fired. If you know where the boss is going to be and where to dodge, it's a great weapon
I use both interchangeably until I get the terra blade, true nights edge for 1st phase plantera and true excalibur for 2nd phase

I would give the win to the true night's edge cuz it has more damage at true melee
the projectile and the blade itself when they both hit the target deal WAY more damage than the true excalibur
Modern TNE is basically the demon scythe as a sword beam. Modern TE is just the breaker blade on steroids
Old versions were better imo.
Its funny though, i always used TNE for crowd control and then the TE for bosses. TE is basically the terra blade but with less damage and a smaller projectile.
Modern Terra Blade goes crazy, its even better now than it ever was and yet it was still the best sword in the old versions too.
Modern Terra Blade is only beaten by the Zenith imo (but like obviously)
If true melee is a viable option i ALWAYS run true melee it is the most fun way to play the game.
Neither personlally. I prefer their old versions
Why subtitles say Knight's instead of Night's ?
honestly i think the clunkiness of the true night’s edge ruins it for me. most of the time i actually prefer to use the regular night’s edge over it
I really wish the true night’s edge swung in the same way as the normal night’s edge bc that’s thing is my favorite weapon in the game and the true version just feels clunky
Anyone remember when the True Night's Edge was actually good with a slow yet actually usable projectile? Feels like aeons ago…
