I Coded Dumb Ways NOT To Die In Minecraft…

The other day, I got this comment that said, “I dare you to code dumb ways not to die in Minecraft.” So, I collected some of your best comments to code into Minecraft for this. The best way to live is to just never die. And just because I’m extra confident, I’m going to do this in hardcore mode. In order to make sense of what I’m about to show you, the first thing I need to do is well, I need to die. But this is a little difficult. So, I’m going to set the tick rate to something like one. And now I’m in extra slow-mo, as you can see. Hi. I’m going to just jump off this ledge really quickly here. We can speed it up a little bit. Here we go. Watch closely. I’m going to set it to one. Okay, there we go. Look at me. I’m dead. See, you see that little red guy? That little like tilted like I’m red. Well, I added this new game rule called game rule just never die. And if we set that to true, well, as you can see, I’m dead. I don’t really know what to call this. And it doesn’t really matter how many times I die because well, simply put, I just don’t. I’m going to let these zombies eat me alive to prove my point. Yeah, I just keep dying over and over again. Now, you can still play Minecraft as normal. There’s just one major difference, and that’s that you’re stuck like this. Whatever. God, guys, please do mind. I’m the size of a chicken now. That’s crazy. I take it back. I’m sorry. Now, you can still play Minecraft. You’re just kind of like you’re stuck like this. Whatever. What is hitting, bro? I also no longer have a hunger bar, so eating food is just not necessary anymore. That’s pretty cool. Okay, I’m drowning at the moment. I no longer have oxygen, and my hearts are going down. But uh-oh, I don’t die. My items do fly everywhere, though, so that’s a little annoying. So, if you can’t drown, you can’t die from fall damage. You can’t die from really anything. I guess you just kind of win Minecraft, right? What happens if I set it to false, though? Oh, I’m I’m just I really am stuck like this. And just to show that I actually am dying, I’m going to just like jump off of this tree and system Z almost died but decided to keep going. I guess that I did that. Hey, I’m I’m over here. Yeah. Okay, maybe that one is a little too easy. How about boots made out of water buckets to avoid fall damage? If there’s one thing that I am incredibly bad at in Minecraft, it’s using a water bucket to save my fall. But hopefully I can do it here. So, I’m currently really high up in the sky and I’m just going to try and use this water bucket to protect my fall. I actually did it. That’s crazy. To be honest, I was supposed to die. I don’t Yeah, that was I didn’t Oh my Okay, there we go. But what if we were to get a couple of pieces of iron? Bam. Okay, we take our two buckets and then we chain them together. This is a legendary crafting recipe from Minecraft the movie. And that’s how you get an empty bucket of boots. They’re pretty stylish. And if we go over here in this water and go to this crafting table and then jump in as well, you can see if I press shift, I scoop up the water. Just like I thought, but oh no, my water’s gone. But I have a solution for that. I added a new enchantment and it’s called sourcing on my empty bucket boots. Now, because normally a water bucket would consume the water if we put these on and fall because it’s got sourcing. I could just fall as much as I want now. And I also did add another enchantment called spilling. But I think in order to show you this, I need to first find some lava. I don’t really know how you get in there to collect the lava without taking damage. And honestly, you can put them on and you’re going to take damage. I mean, it’s filled with lava. Now that we have fire resistance, I can wear my lava boots. I feel like a really funny way to prank your friends would be to give them a cursive binding pair of lava bucket boots. You just never take it off. You’re just permanently taking damage. Wow. Now, as you know, I added a new enchantment called spilling. And if I go ahead and put on the water bucket boots, I need to find a giant source of lava. Now, as you can tell, there is a bunch of lava around me. And normally, if you were to walk on lava, you would die. But because I have water bucket boots that spill a little bit of water, I can just I can create infinite obsidian. It’s like frost walker but with obsidian. I don’t think there’s any better way to capture a strider than to just block him in like that. Look, he can’t escape. Now, if we use the spilling enchantment on a pair of lava bucket boots, the exact opposite. I forgot I need fire resistance for no reason at all. I made it work on water so you can turn it into stone. Why use a boat when you could just ruin the ocean for everyone? Does it work if I give myself like an insane speed boost? Look. Oh my gosh, I’m going so fast. Oh no, I’m underwater and can’t breathe. If only I had a ridiculously long straw to save me from drowning. I still died, but if I had that straw, I wouldn’t have. We’re going to need ourselves one cauldron, one campfire, and of course, resin clumps. So, I added this new uh like crafting system that I think is actually kind of cool. Feel like if Minecraft added this, everyone would be pretty stoked. It’s unbelievable. It’s cauldron plus an item. And then you got to you got to break the block under it and put a little campfire in there. You heat it up and then just like sooner or later. There we go. It cooked and turned into plastic. I need a lot of plastic actually. I don’t know what I’m doing. Why am I making sound effects? While our resin cooks, I’m going to need to get a crafting table and some red dye. We got the flour. I’m just going to grab more just in case. I think back at home base, our plastic should all be ready. So, I think if I like do this and then I think this is the recipe. Yeah, there we go. A candy. No, a plastic straw. So, if I right click and like I start to sink, as you can see, I can still breathe. And it’s because my straw is still above the water. But as soon as it goes under the water, I can no longer breathe. Don’t mind me. I’m just swimming with my plastic straw. This is honestly like a pretty good way to hide in someone’s base. Now, I know what you might be thinking. If only the straw was longer cuz like this is kind of not that great. Well, that’s why I added this enchantment. It’s just called straw but longer. It’s at least two blocks taller. But it doesn’t stop there because if we just go ahead and place down our crafting table and craft ourself another plastic straw, we can go ahead and add another enchantment to it. One that might be a little bit more helpful. It’s called straw, but longest. And I can use it to just save myself cuz I was about to die. So, if you’re wondering how long this straw is, well, it’s it’s pretty long. I mean, it’s definitely better than having to swim up to the surface. Oh no, help me. I have been buried inside of some sand. If only I could breathe. Oh, my plastic straw will help me breathe. Does anybody have a shovel by chance? I’m kind of stuck down here. If you’re low on health, just rub dirt on it. That always helps. You know, you’re kind of right with that one. I mean, that’s an age-old saying. So, let’s grab oursel just a little bit more plastic. For no reason at all, I kind of just like I made a new item called a plastic bag. And if we right click dirt, um, then we just get like a plastic bag filled with dirt. Okay, I need to take some damage. Are there any bees in here? Let’s summon like a pillager. Okay, I’ve got a pillager here and he shot me a couple times. But if I right click my bag of dirt, you can see I can heal a little bit. I can grab more dirt and just rub some dirt on it and I’m good. It’s like nothing ever happened. Ow. But I don’t really know how effective this actually is. All right. You know what? There we go. It’s like it never even happened. Is this why sheeps eat dirt? I feel like a sheep. I’m so sorry about that. In order to put this to an accurate test, I’ve placed a flag somewhere in this mansion. And my challenge is to capture the flag using only this plastic bag of dirt. Okay, here goes nothing. I’ve got my bag of dirt. And I just realized I’m going to need more dirt. There’s no dirt inside. All right, my goal here is not to kill every pillager in this building. It isn’t. How much damage? Oh god, that’s a lot of damage. My goal is instead to just survive long enough to make it where I need to go. I don’t remember where I placed it. What’s in there? Oh god. Oh god. Uh-oh. Uh-oh. Uh-oh. We’re going to try one more time. I know. I got to go up these steps. No, you stay down there. You stay. Stay away from me. Why is he still following me? That’s crazy. Oh god. Oh god. Oh god. Okay. Dirt. Okay, back up, bro. There’s two of them. Oh no, there’s two. There’s two of Oh, there’s three of them. There is so many vindicators in this building. I don’t understand it. But that’s okay. I’m dedic There’s Oh, that’s not Oh, no. The best way to not die in Minecraft is just to not play at all. When you fly with an elytra, you can smash through anything in your path. You know what? That’s a good idea because I uh I’m not a good pilot and so whenever I fly with an elytra, I’ll just show you what usually happens. Yeah, I’m not good at at flying. But don’t worry because I’ve actually added three brand new enchantments. One to solve the problem and two because honestly I got carried away and it’s like it’s a real problem because when I’m programming these videos I end up spending a lot of time doing things I don’t necessarily need to do because my ADHD runs rampant. Meaning I make features that nobody really Let’s start with force field, shall we? I’m going to put this enchantment onto this elytra. Now watch closely here. Watch closely. We have force field, right? I’m just going to zip right through the I’m just Yeah, you can basically explode anything in your path and I think it’s amazing. It does just kind of grief your world a little bit. Oh god. Okay, as long as you’re clicking the fireworks, nothing should stop you. So, you should be safe. Oh, I’m going to go through the pyramid. Here we go. Yeah, look at that. That’s so crazy. Oh my. Oh. Oh god. Oh, what did I do? What did I do? Uh-oh. Help. So, let’s move on to crowd control. This might be my new favorite enchantment next to the other one. You’ll see why. But first, going to need a command block really quickly. And I’m just going to use this to summon villagers. A bunch of villagers. As you can see, it is currently pandemonium behind me. We have a whole Oh god, I uh I accidentally activated the elytra. Using this enchantment called crowd control, we can just kind of treat them like bowling fins. Oh my gosh, that’s crazy. Yep, there they go. They’re all flying. They’re all flying. Oh god, it’s so laggy though. Get on out of here. Go shoot. Now, to make this even more interesting, I want to go ahead and put force field back onto this elytra. So that way we have crowd control and force field cuz now the ground can’t stop us and neither can the villagers. Nothing in our path can kill us. Yeah. How about them apples, huh? How you like it? Oh. Um, well, this is awkward. I have carved a hole through this entire mansion and I’m going to keep going. You know what? Why not this village as well? I mean, it seems like it deserved it. Oh, I’m sorry, horses. I’m sorry. Yeah, I got the horse. I got a horse. Look, I got a horse. There’s actually one more enchantment that I haven’t shown you yet, and it’s called ejector seat. But if we go into our controls, I added a new button called eject. I currently have it set to O. Let’s say we’re about to smack into this wall. Not today, we’re not. I’m going to eject and let my elytra smack into the side of the mountain while I safely breeze down to the bottom. The wind is really high today. I’m supposed to be falling. There we go. Yeah, that’s a little better. Now, we were a little far away from the demonstration. So, I just want to show you if we do get a little bit closer to whatever our elytra smacks into. You can see it’s actually a lot more deadly than you may have realized. It just it explodes whatever it hits. That’s so crazy. Llama. It can be a little bit hard to aim. But if we like go ahead and just launch it. Oh, it went into the water. Now, there is one downside to this. The elytra is a fairly expensive item. So, you probably don’t want to do this to all of your elytras. But hey, press O. Oh, there is one beneficial feature about this. Even though you have to sacrifice your elytra, if you want to get rid of a target like this pillager outpost or the ground in front of it. What? Why am I flying away? Here we go. Here we go. sending in the elytra. Hey, it’s actually a lot more fun than it should be. Whenever it’s raining, not only is the wind a little bit more chaotic, but there’s also a chance that you’ll get struck by lightning. So, definitely don’t use your ejector seat when it’s storming outside. This just wouldn’t be there. Oh, there it goes. There goes my Electra. It is a lovely day for flying, as you can see. I sure hope lightning doesn’t strike me and send me flying out of the sky. Some crap.

NEVER jump off a cliff, unless you have water bucket boots. DON’T EVER go into a pillager mansion, without a bag of dirt. I coded your dumb ideas into Minecraft and used them to survive the most common ways to die in Minecraft!
