This is the smartest trap in Minecraft. And here’s why. In 2016, trappers had a big problem. Although they did trap some people, smarter players were spotting their trap and avoiding the hole that they were supposed to fall into. So, the trappers thought and designed for a long time and ended up coming up with one of the best traps Minecraft has ever seen, the flatground trap. The trap would push up a wall, stopping the player that was chasing you from moving. And in the same moment, the floor would be pushed away, creating a functional trap. But although this did work super well, there was another problem. This trap worked super well for almost 8 years. But some of these people, they never log off the game, bro. And even though trappers kept improving it, people just stopped falling for it. If you were running in a straight line, people would just automatically assume that you were running a flat ground trap. So to fix this, in 2024, an ingenious trap was made, the diagonal flat ground. Because you weren’t running in a straight line anymore, this trap tricked literally anybody that came across it. And after some pretty needed improvements, the flat ground easily became Minecraft’s smartest track.
