I Obtained PROTECTION 5 GOD ARMOR in Minecraft Hardcore

Protection for Netherites isn’t the strongest armor. And everyone knows that you can get god armor combining every type of protection, but even that isn’t the best because it is actually possible to get protection 5 netherite god armor, which is way, way stronger than protection 4. The methods involved are pretty cool, and I’m going to start on a brand new world to get this armor. Oh, and we’re also going to get protection 3 on an elytra so that even when flying around, we’ll still be much safer. Shout out to Mistaken for working all of this out. And the biggest quest to begin with is to get a bunch of XP and a bunch of enchanted books. Oh, and we’re also going to need to switch back a few versions to Java 1.4.6. This is the first version that added enchanted books. And we’re playing specifically on snapshot 12w49a. And that does unfortunately mean that villagers are going to be pretty useless. So, as always, I’m going to start by getting a bunch of tools. And this was also back at a time where swords were actually useful. This should be enough food for now. And to get enchanted books, I’m going to need a lot of XP. So, I reckon the best option is to take out the Ender Dragon, which I’ve kind of forgotten how to do back in this version. So, let’s start by trying to find some iron, or at least trying to find a half decent cave. We’ll get a bit of coal to get us going. And I suppose bacon can be on the menu as well. Also, the book that I specifically need to get is one that ends in a five. So, it can either be smite five, bane of broads five, or sharpness five. Doing that is what’s going to allow me to get protection five, but it’s a bit of a complicated method. Also, I think I’ve discovered a a free X-ray glitch here. I can just literally see through the terrain. Probably a good idea to get a bed made sooner rather than later, especially with the sun going down. And this is what I’ve been looking for. Plenty of iron, plenty of coal, and hopefully some diamonds as Okay, we might have to dig down. But yeah, I’m hoping for diamonds because I will need obsidian. My pickaxe can be upgraded to be an iron one. And now the hunt for diamonds in a cave can begin. Okay, well that was that was really quick. Oh, that’s that never ever happens with strip mining. Is it just two? Oh no, it’s three. Four. Oh, this is absolutely perfect. I can also hear water really nearby. And more diamonds. Okay, this might be the luckiest I’ve ever been strip mining in these older versions. I know I had an X-ray glitch earlier on, but that that is nothing to do with this operation. Find the cave. Oh, it’s a mine shaft. Perfect. But yeah, that’s been successful. So, let’s keep exploring. By the way, guys, SP from the has been perfect for getting absolutely loads of iron. So much so that I can craft full armor and tools as well. I will still keep exploring this place because more iron is going to be useful for anvils. And there’s also a chance that I might be able to find diamonds. Oh my goodness, how many creepers are there? A lot. And I’m even finding dungeons. I’d definitely like to thank Minecraft for giving me such a good mh shaft to explore. And in the meantime, I’ve managed to find plenty more diamonds. four to be exact. So, I’m going to burn this pickaxe, make a brand new diamond one, and continue the search. This place looks absolutely amazing. There’s even more to be found here. And I don’t know if you need lapis for enchanting at this point. I’m 99% sure you don’t, but I’ve grabbed some just in case. And now the only thing that I’m missing really is a bunch of obsidian. And I think at this point, I’ve got enough obsidian. In fact, I’ve been mining for so long that I’ve I’ve been intruded by a a certain man. mine faster. Come on. It’s putting me to work. The only remaining thing that I need to stay in this cave for now is the rest of the diamond armor because I don’t know about you guys, but I don’t fancy having protection 5 iron armor. That that would just be such a waste. I tell you what I forgot was a thing. Sword plucking. Yeah, that’s kind of cool. Some more have been found here. I was thinking it might only be one. Thankfully, it’s quite a lot. This might just be all the diamonds I need now. I’m very, very close. Yep. I can make the leggings, the boots, the helmet, and if I also turn this sugar cane into paper, I can make a book, and the enchantment table. Perfect. I don’t think there’s really any Okay, excuse me, sir. I’m trying to commentate. As I was saying, I don’t think there’s really any need for me to stay down in the caves now. So, I can slowly make my way up and out, and then the next phase of the plan can begin. Now, to get level five books, I’m going to need level 30 enchantments. And level 30 enchantments means I’m going to need a lot of bookcases. I could manually get the sugarcane, take out a load of cows for leather, but realistically, I do think my best option is going to be to find the bookcases in a stronghold. And if I want to find a stronghold, yeah, I’m going to I’m going to have to try and find a fortress. It’s a real blast from the past seeing Netherrack that looks like this, isn’t it? And look at that. The lava is flowing. Recrat would be so happy. I was starting to think gas didn’t exist in this version cuz it was taking me so long to find any. I’ll tell you what there isn’t any of though. Nether quarts. No, that’s not in the game just yet, which is a shame cuz it would have been a great source of XP. And there we have it. Fortress spotted up ahead. The blades have been found. So now it’s time to get all of the rods. 10 should be enough. I’ll quickly check this part of the fortress to see if there’s any chest with loot in. Although it’s entirely possible that they haven’t been added to fortresses yet. All the versions just blurred into one back then. And rather than go back to the other portal, I might as well make a brand new one. What on earth have I just done? Good thing I have a diamond pickaxe. But that must go down as one of the worst attempts at making a portal ever. Here we are in a cave of all places. And it looks like we’re in an ocean. My goodness, swimming was so slow before the aquatic update. All right, desert over there, which is absolutely perfect because this is one of the best biomes to find Enderman, which is exactly what we need to get these ender pearls. There’s a couple of preparations that I’m going to do before nighttime, such as build a massive tower and then add ladders on the other side so I can easily get up and down. The darkness is now upon us. And the first Enderman has spawned, although I seem to be a bit too far away to get his attention. The way we’re going to deal with him is we are going to place a block above my head and then just attack him. And from down here, I’m completely safe. Now, I’ve got Enderman number two and Enderman number three. I’ve also got a creeper that is trying to ruin my What? What is going on? Creepers, why am I being attacked in a hole? Also, I’m just going to attack this Enderman’s toes. I think I think I’ve got good enough armor to to handle it. Yes, we got pearl number one. Arrows are going to be pretty important for the dragon. And the search for the stronghold can now begin. I’ve just realized that back in this version, there was only three strongholds per world, which means I need to go way, way back towards 0. I’m about 8,000 blocks out at the moment. According to my calculations, yeah, it’s right about here. And the eye didn’t break. Nice. I can hear silverfish. And I’m in the portal room. Now to start. Oh my goodness. Reaper stuck in a cobweb. As I was saying, now to get all of the needed bookcases. And then work can begin getting the level five books. Now, unfortunately, in this version, it’s annoying cuz you can’t see what you’re going to get. And it uses all 30 levels. So, please be good. Efficiency four. That’s fantastic. But yeah, getting four level five books is going to be a real challenge. And I can also go for little level one enchantments, which might be the way because I can combine a lot of those books. So, I’ll keep that strate What? How on earth are you inside the leaves? Anyway, I’ll keep that strategy in mind as well. These guys have literally found the ultimate shelter from the rain, just not the ultimate shelter from SP. So, I need to take out about three to four mobs to gain one level, and then I can get a book power. That’s fantastic. So, I’m going to get to work exploring the land, taking out mobs, and get all of the books that I need. And if it ever stops raining, I’m hoping to find a bunch of Enderman, too. Finally. Just as the moon is setting and the sun’s beginning to rise, the rain has stopped, and Enderman can spawn. Guys, I found what might be the best thing ever. I just could hear a load of mobs underneath me. And we’ve got a dungeon. This is going to get me all of the XP that I need. I’ll spend a bit of time mining out the floor. Then I can add water, a little hole for them to fall down, and a place for me to take them out. I can grab all of the iron that I’ve been smelting and spend the night hunting enderman. There we go. That’s two ender pearls. And by day, I can collect XP and start combining these books. And at this point, I have got all of the books that I need. The issue is I’ve only combined one of them, and all the rest are going to require lots and lots of experience to put together. So, I’m going to upgrade my bow and hopefully get a pearl from this enderman because I believe it’s the last one that I need. Come enderman. Yes, he didn’t let me down. From there, I can take out a few chickens, craft some arrows, and then I’ll head to the end. Oh my to take on the big guy that nearly knocked me off. It’s also weird to do an end fight where all the towers are just scattered around. But hey, not much I can do about it. So, I guess I’d better get shooting them. A double one to finish. And now we can start shooting the dragon. This is a weird way to do it because it will basically never perch. Mission accomplished. Now I can steadily collect the XP and combine loads of books. Now I’ve got a sharpness five and an efficiency five. All my other books are back in the overworld. So I’m just going to grab the rest of the XP and head back. Sadly, whilst combining the anvil did break, so I need more iron. Perfect. So, I’ve now got efficiency five to go alongside these books. And now, this is where things get cool because on my chest plates, I’m going to put efficiency 5 on my helmet. I’m going to need some more XP. I reckon Enderman are going to be the fastest way for me to get XP. But yeah, power five can go on the helmet. The leggings can get sharpness. And finally, efficiency on the boots. You see, the snapshot we’re on is the first snapshot to ever add the books. So, there was a bug that let you put anything on anything, including these level five enchants. And so, now I’m loading the world up in snapshot 18w21A. Oh my goodness, everything just looks so much nicer in newer versions, apart from that terrain over there. Anyway, here, as you can see, it still kept the upgrades, but now I need a little bit more XP because the next step is to rename every item in this version. If I don’t do that, the entire thing will not work. And whilst I’m at it, I’m also going to bridge really, really far from the end island so that I can head out and track down some elytra. There we go. And I may as well pick up some decent gear whilst I’m in the area. Now, I’ve headed back and I next need to get an unbreaking three book. Sadly, the new librarian villages haven’t been added at this point. So, if I want unbreaking three, I’m going to have to try something else. To get this book, I’m going to need 30 levels of XP. So, I reckon my best bet is to head to the Nether and mine Nether quartz to collect up XP. And that is 30 levels. So, now I can try and get unbreaking three. Basically, if I do an enchant that’s level 26 or above, I’ve got a 5% chance of getting it. So far, not got what I want. And Lapis reserves are running low. So, I’m going to go caving to try and get more. And I can also grab more iron whilst I’m down here, too. Oh my Oh my goodness. Why is there so many of them? Oh my goodness. Don’t die speed. When there’s this many mobs, caving certainly is a very dangerous experience. And I don’t know why there’s about 60 million creepers everywhere, too. Managed to find some diamonds. Very, very nice. And finally, some lapis as well. Oh, and literally diamonds right under my feet. And I reckon for now that should be enough lapis. We’ve got 46 pieces. So now I can upgrade my pickaxe and get back to trying to get unbreaking three. Finally, we’ve got Unbreaking three. So let’s slap that on the elytra. Rename the remaining pieces. And now we are ready to turn this into protection 5. So first things first, we need to put every single item into a chest. Then I need to save and quit and load the world up in snapshot 18w22B. If everything’s gone to plan, once I open this chest, we should have protection five armor. How? And a protection three elytra as well. How insane is that? We are invincible. But it’s still not enough because on top of this, I need to make it netherite and I need to get every other type of protection as well, such as blast protection, projectile, and fire protection. So to do that, we’re going to upgrade our version and go and find some villagers. So now we’re playing in snapshot 24w11a, which was a snapshot for 1.20.5. Doesn’t the Nether look way, way better? Being able to fly is definitely going to make life easier. And I’m currently on the hunt for a village, which we’ve managed to find. First things first, let’s steal all of their wheat and sell it to a farmer. And from there, I can begin work on getting the books that I need. Mending is a great start because that is a book that I’m going to need. Now I’ll just keep working away until I get to all of the other ones. What’s going on? I see you’ve had a bit of an accident in the night. Are you okay up there? I mean, would you like to get off the off the roof? Progress has been good. I’ve got multiple armor sets from this guy and a villager for every book trade, too. So, I just need to go ahead and buy them all, which is going to require getting even more wood to buy more emeralds. And then I’ll have absolutely everything that I need. Although, a quick visit to an ancient city to grab swift sneak would be handy. And I’ll also barter for soul speed as well. From there, I can combine a bunch of stuff. And then this is where the magic happens because there’s a reason we’re in snapshot 24W 11A. You see in this snapshot, if I try to amble together something with protection five and something with fire protection four, you lose the fire protection. But if you use a grindstoneone, I can put that right there and I would grindstoneone it off. But I could also go ahead and put this in and it adds the enchants automatically. So we can put that there. No thorns and blast protection until we go like that. And now it has thorns and blast protection. Finally, fire protection acro affinity. It’s got absolutely everything on it. We take it out. We take out the helmet and put it on. And this, ladies and gentlemen, is the strongest diamond helmet you can possibly get in Minecraft. So then I literally do the exact same thing with all of the other items. As you can see, the chest plate is done. The leggings are also complete. And finally, the boots as well. Just look at this. And if I head down to the bottom of the world and hunt for a bunch of ancient debris, then using a netherite upgrade from a bastion and mining up a few extra diamonds, I can turn this in to protection five netherite armor. This is ridiculously OP. And this armor is so strong that you can literally take a point blank blast from a creeper. And it did what? Three and a half hearts. Yes, this truly is Minecraft’s god armor. And the elytra are pretty good, too. Oh my goodness, my cloak looks insane on the elytra. Like two dancing penguins. But yeah, thanks for watching.
