At 1:1 scale it’s the realism of this mansion what compensated for the lack of space for detail: a formal marble staircase and the discreet servant’s staircase meet with a toilet in the foyer, that turning right leads to a vestibule that connects to the three rooms, of which the two located on the corners are connected in a suite fashion with the smaller bedroom being decorated as a boudoir (room sized closet). Don’t expect to find too many bathrooms in houses from this era, but the lack of a master bath here is due to the plumbing leading to the sewage system being located in the “service core” with the stairs, an horizontal pipe would either leak onto or take off one block of height of the dining room below.
