To create a conduit you need to put nautilus shells in a circle to activate the true power of the heart in the sea in the middle, just like how you need to surround the end portal with eyes of ender to activate it

Nautilus = ocean, ocean = water, water + glowstone = aether, SO WE ARE GETTING THE AETHER
For Flashback, you can see the entire hotbar if you have that setting on, if you don't, I think it just shows up like you showed

"Adding max_puddle_depth_below_sea_level to the surface_builder biome component for the swamp builder type. The component will set the search depth for how far below sea level to search for a surface to add a puddle".
