Diamonds you… just make gemcorns… you get an infinite supply… and they can be shimmered from diamond creatures. If you're mining for them you're playing Minecraft not terraria
I think the gem generation is pretty weird, because it will take like two gems and make those insanely abundant and the rest really difficult to find, and it happens with any of them. So diamonds aren't particularly rare, especially since i've come across a world where there are more diamonds than tungsten
The issue is that they should've remove mob spawn rates during boss fights. Like… Having zombies and other mobs jumping with you in a boss fight is annoying af

Sandstorms are a byproduct of wind not rain or storm. It can be a 40mph windy day without a storm and you’ll get it or a storm without 40mph wind and you won’t get it.

nah I hate how the gems are so hard to differentiate sometimes. like why do sapphire and diamond look so similar??

If you need diamonds go mining in ice for slush and extraculate them or just plain silt
