What If There Were MORE SHORTSWORDS In Terraria?

Today, we try Coz’s Shortswords, which adds a plethora of shortswords all the way through Pre-Hardmode. Hardmode is coming soon, but can we even get past Pre-Hardmode with only SHORTSWORDS? If I had a dollar for every comment I got demanding that I play through Terraria with only shortswords, I’d make Bezos look like a charity act. While the Wall of Flesh is our final hurdle for this video, is there a shortsword beastly enough to take it on? How many weapons do we have to choose from? Can we get far at all with all of our enemies quite literally being within arms reach? Truly, there’s only one way to find out.

    everyone makes the shortsword damage bloat obscenely, mannnnnnn. 40 damage on basic demonite? come onnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn! it doesn't even behave like a shortsword. they're short, fast, they poke, and they poke go all around. that demonite abomination is no shortsword
    same with a lot of the other "shortswords" some modders need to die!
    (THAT LAST PART IS A JOKE! while i do think people get too flamboyant with their weapons too early, and these shortsword mods seem to miss the point of the shortsword hype and get a little too powerful too fast. still though! the mod maker should be proud in spite of my snobbish antics great video waffle! and i do really like the crimson variants and the hellstone one is pretty dang good, maybe 5 to 10 less base damage though. eaters teef is very much overpowered tho)

    Hey, mod dev here! It was a fantastic time working with WaffleTime (except when I watched him commit 100 Geneva convention violations after failing to get the Tidebreaker) and I absolutely loved how the mod turned out. If you guys would check the mod out yourselves that’d be awesome! As of right now I’m the only one doing all the coding, sprite work, animation, etc. so any support helps.

    Waffle has definitely mentioned this, but there really only is two states on luck that he has, either getting TWO dirtiest blocks in the getfixedboi medium core or finding two explosive traps in this one.

    With a 25% drop chance, you only have a 1.78% chance not to get it out of 14 ocean crates…Factoring in the 37 crates at 15% that we see Waffletime open on camera and you get a whopping 0.0000435% chance to not get the sword.
