sooo good in my opinion, like the early game but with actual mining speed, difficulty, variety of loot and good movement imo its the best part of the game
Early hard mode is that bad on master mode cuz tell me why does a green slime (the first and weakest enemy in the game) has 380 health, and does 70 dmg.
What i hate about it is the lack of flexibility you have, its like pre-boss but instead of being happy with every chest and every ore its just fighting enemies and mining only the best ore that you can mine with your pickaxe and only going for wings and that one or two weapons specific to your class that is actually viable for the mechs and i think that is what makes it bad compared to other stages if the game
early hardmode is easily the most fun i have with the game, with the hardmode V and all the new enemies it almost feels like a fresh world to explore and you've got some work to do to get geared up again, but rather than being kinda slow, awkward and grindy like the start of the game you've got ok weapons, solid movement, all the tools you need, pylons to get around and knowledge of where everything is
I will say personally I really like this stage of the game just because it's more challenging pre hard mode and it triggered a much more difficult state of the game and I just think that's a good idea because it has people thinking more cautiously again bouncy by this point in the game you're immune to knock back and immune to fall damage and then you have access to wings which is a huge buff
early hm has so much progression and content compared to the plantera golem cultist portion. like if we had early hm levels of content for those three sections then the game would be so much better.
Try playing archipelago and triggering hard mode from defeating the eye of chithulu 😅 thankfully I had some hard mode items at that point, but goodness that was hard for a while
My very first time getting into hard mode was the day it released, and my friends and I had stumbled into it by mistake. Anyway, going into the first night, we get the warning that it's a blood moon. Friends and I aren't worried, we survived a TON of 'em. Head back to base, man the walls that have a lava moat in front and… We died. Quickly. And often. Especially since back then clowns' bombs would actually destroy blocks, so our walls meant nothing. Had to abandon base, and rebuild underground. But I never hated early hard mode.
Early hard mode/mech bosses is genuinely my favorite part of the game because of the challenge coupled with fast paced progression. My only complaint is that once you get past the mech bosses it slows back down and gets easier again.
I just got to this point like a day ago for the first time ever since I’m new, and I honestly enjoy it, I just have some problems with the “new enemies” but it’s a lot of fun so far, I was VERY wrong about Terraria at first, thought it was a Minecraft, turns out I was very wrong lol
Imo terraria is a game of 30-40% skill and the rest is all just knowledge like if you know how to stomp mech your going to blaze through early hardmode and sure if a pirate invasion happens the instant you enter hard mode its kinda bad but still fine if you know how to deal with it.

Crispy clean video and easy to understand I love it
My favorite part of the game in pre mech and finally getting into 1000 dps. It feels like I’m actually strong and not just fighting weak creatures.
Never once heard any one way early hard mode is difficult
It’s definitely a pain in the ass sometimes
For other classes:maybe
For summoners: absolutely
Honestly its my favourite part of the game, only thing i dont like is the spread of the corruption and hallow

My least favorite is when I beat WoF at exactly 4:00AM only for 30 seconds later at 4:30 to see
"Pirates are invading from the West!"
Pre hard mode was hard for me but when im keep on playing nothings hard just time consuming
The mechaic boses are inposibile to defeat
on master mode i actually find pre boss to be significantly harder and less enjoyable

Early hard mode is my favorite nowadays… though I definitely didn’t like it all that much 12 years ago when I first started playing.
Preboss is the only reason why I'm not playing calamity right now it's just boring for me
I think post BoC/EoW to golem is the most fun part of the game

I agree, and I also like the fact that you are forced to explore more
I personally quit at early hardmode because the world I grew to know and love got taken by crimson and hallow and it kinda ruined it for me
worst stage is easily post evil boss to pre WOF,
You forgot the evil biome spread, and the constant raid if you are unlucky
I dont find it bad, but im probably biased since im an experience player, the twins is my fav boss ever even

I’ve been trying to be legendary mode

mf it's called hardmode tf did you expect?
Ok but summoners have a right to complain
My only issue with pre boss hardmode is that the melee weapons suck ass

It's just skill issue

I think it's basically going back to starting a new world so it's slow but not bad but that's just my own opinion.
Early hard mode makes easy if you have some preparations in pre hardmode
I wish I had friends to play with. It’s totally a skill issue
Early hard mode is low-key the best part of the game. The next best is exploring the jungle biome pre-hardmode
Terraria is not hard at all until you play legendary lol what you talking about.

If you aren't playing on Master Mode, you are relaxing even at the end game.
