While playing with mods, I wanted to build a treasure room, mainly to place Cataclysm items on armor stands on the walls. However, I have no creativity whatsoever when it comes to decorating a treasure room, so I came here to ask for tips. It's a 13×13 room. What suggestions do you have for this room? What building patterns, blocks, and palettes would you use for a room like this?

Floor could be a dull gray (tuff, cobble) so the item stands pop.
And the walls could still be the dark stone you have, (deepslate?), just broken up with something filling the center of the walls. Something like:
– recessed alcove (any wood, or a bright stone like quarts), filled with books or painting
– have a corner of the room look ‘repaired’ by transition to stone bricks -> moss bricks -> leaves/moss, breaking up the whole deepslate if you want that natural look.
– leave the walls themselves ’empty’ and just hang a few lanterns, place maybe a cobweb or few in a corner on a shelf, and make it feel like a dungeon vault with a fake window and iron bars
