My friend couldn’t get villagers to breed. So she put them in a room with many beds, but they chose only the colored once. I couldn’t find anything in wiki about it but is there a line of code that is responsible for this? If so – this could explain why the villagers won’t breed.

Is there a requirement that the beds be spaced out or something? Or maybe they only sleep in the bed colors that can naturally generate in villages?

if the black beds are new, they probably already chose the purple ones

You 100% first placed the purple beds, they chose them and then you placed the black beds. They keep their beds even if there are more around so they will always use the same beds.

Are they able to leave this room you have or no? They might not be breeding because there is no ground exposed.

The black bed get too hot because it absords more heat, they prefer cool
Replace them with white and see what happens
You need to leave at least 1 block open between rows of beds.
