Question regarding slow game

So this might seem like a silly/stupid question but I'm not too techy when it come to modding minecraft, but how do I fix my world running like this? The mobs are moving really slowly and whenever I break something like a two block tall plant it takes time for the next piece to break. I'm not running very many mods at all too so this feels very odd and whenever I create a new world on the same instance of the game the lag seems to disappear. I have tried anything I could personally think of but the game still stays like this. The version I am on is 1.21.6, I am running fabric 0.16.14 and the mods I am using are: Balm, Essential, Falling tree, Iris, Sodium, Waystones, Xaero's minimap, Xaero's world map. Again sorry if this is a silly question but any help would be appreciated 🙂
