I do! I always expand their villages, protect them, and only turn a couple of them into zombies for cheaper trades!

One of my goals in my ssp is to build a village designed to be villager friendly. Safe, no drops that can cause fall damage, plenty of room to walk around and do their things
I was originally thinking I’d go out of my way to convert some zombies so I wouldn’t have to kidnap anyone from their existing village, but I did notice on a wander that some villagers had wandered quite far from their old village because it’s old enough to not count as a village anymore. I may rescue them and offer them a new home.

I do! I give them names, build them safe villager friendly houses (makes it annoying to avoid trapdoors and try to hide the doors they need for pathfinding), and build a wall to make sure they don’t wander off and die. I’d feel bad enslaving them, or iron golems

Yeah, I always build my bases in villages, I treat them as neighbors (I do fence off my base though, don’t need a villager wandering in while I’m sleeping lol

People treat Indians like villiagers and no one talks about it online.Â
Disgusting

I like to build my bases near or in villages and build up defenses for them. If I can’t find a village where I want to build, I like to build a village myself from zombies.
I like them to be comfortable and really don’t even use them for item farms. I specifically make them like, nice houses and big farms to work, give them iron golems as protectors.
I always feel like I’m doing it wrong when I see the villager torment nexus that people build lmao

Me, I fence off the villages so they can be free and have social lives and babies. I even made an igloo village near one of my bases so I’m not so lonely

My villager exists to give me unlimited mending books, he lives in a 3×5 stone room with haybales on the floor and half a wall of bookshelves
I made him watch his brother die (accidentally) when i was setting up the lighting in my base, left the area near them too dark and a zombie got to the one in the boat
