Which mod is this and how do I replenish whatever this is?

I'm currently playing a custom modpack, and somewhere along the way I added a mod that put this in my HUD. I'm unsure of its origins, but it depleted in my survival world and now I constantly get 3 seconds of Darkness 2. Any ideas?
