Hey yall, I was just wondering what everyone’s theories are for the wizards daughter! I’ve heard the common one of Abigail, I was wondering if there were any other ones out there and why?
So many people dismiss the “Abigail is the wizard’s daughter” theory, saying there is no proof. Despite Caroline says (without -outright- saying) “I had an affair with the wizard!” and these fans ignore this.

It’s pretty much canon imo, the evidence is so strong. But I just want to add we know wizard is into green girlies….so it makes sense he’d be into Caroline.

I like the “Caroline is actually the Wizard’s Daughter” idea.
The whole “moving to Pelican Town” can be explained by moving back. Iirc, either Abby or Caroline has some line about being “drawn to the tower.” A feeling like that would explain Caroline moving there when she didn’t seem to want to. She has a line about taking a long time to settle down and not being ready to
The line about Abigail’s hair also kind of backs this up. I don’t feel like Caroline would be anti-hair dye to Abigail while dyeing her own hair a bright green. It could be that both of their unnatural hair colors are genetic, rather than just Abby’s
Pierre’s line about Abby not being his is just another insecurity thing, like his whole “what if the shop closes” complaint even though people still buy from him, or whatever. Probably it’s because she just doesn’t act the way he wants her to

Its fine if people think other theories are more fun, but this is a pretty basic implication. I really dont think you were meant to interpret this in any way other than the obvious – that Abigail is probably the wizards daughter.

And as far as I know, Caroline is the only villager to refer to the wizard as the wizard, other characters like Sam, Lewis and Marnie call him a “weird/strange old man”

In the film “Oz the great and powerful” The Wizard, Oz, fell in love with the Witch of the West, who was manipulated by her sister into thinking that Oz was cheating on her with Glinda… Turning her evil, and her skin to turn green.
