A Beginners Guide to Skull Cavern (1.6)
We’re back with a brand new Stardew Valley guide, and this time we’re tackling Skull Cavern in the early game! It can seem quite daunting to take on the cavern when the best sword you have hardly does any damage and you don’t have money for bombs, but in this guide I’m going to show you just how easy it actually is to get a really good run early on!
From autopetters and prismatic shards to wild amounts of iridium ore, and you don’t even need staircases to do it.
If you want a more late-game guide on how to get thousands of ore per run, make sure to check out the video below!

Donatello because its the only one i can remember lol. Thanks for the video! Looking forward for more tips that I never thought I’d ever need but still learn a lot from. 😊
Oooh perfect timing for this video, I was planning to hit the skull mines after work today 😀
Thank you, I definitely needed this type of skull cavern guide. I’m far enough in the game to need some skull cavern stuff but not good enough to actually tackle the super intimidating over prepared tutorials that are common.
HELP! I play on mobile app. I made a crate to store food, steps, and other helpful items, just outside skull cavern like you have shown on this video. At some point I realized that wasn't the best place to put it, and that I should put it inside the entrance. When I started scooting it in, it disappeared!! How on earth can I get it back?I see, it just inside the entrance but it fell into an abyss basically.

Thank you for not just giving tips but also SHOWING how you use them—I find little details like when to stop looking for ladders and start looking for ore to be really helpful!!
