This is how I set my gold farm up. The top hoppers are placed in a loop. Since hoppers can both pull items down and push items across if there’s more than 1 item, this allows all 6 hoppers to split their items a little more evenly. The hoppers that get filled first, or the most, push the extra items into the hoppers that don’t fill up as fast (usually the back corners). And then all the hoppers go into 6 droppers. With this setup I don’t have any items that sit around for more than a second.
