I got a Prismatic Shard from river fishing super early in the save I just started. I haven’t even been inside the adventurers guild. I’m a little tempted to just not touch the mines until I grind up enough to the desert and get the galaxy sword.
Another few notes of luck i've gotten: I've accrued at least 5 diamonds from river fishing and collecting the chests, and i've had 3 rainy days in a row and caught a boatload of catfish.
Tbh I don’t know why people hold of giving one to the museum, they’re rare but not THAT hard to get esp after unlocking the skull caverns

Damn, that’s some impressive luck. And at the rate you’re making money from fishing, you probably could afford to unlock the desert before the end of spring. In your place, I would absolutely be tempted to try that bit of sequence-breaking just because I could and you don’t often get an opportunity like that.
On the other hand, you’d be locking yourself out of a lot of useful resources by avoiding the mines and the money would be better put to use on building farm infrastructure. The smarter play would probably be to hit the low level mines and grind bug kills until you unlock the insect head which is more than good enough to make the copper levels a breeze and have a good shot at getting an early ancient seed to add to your strong first spring while you’re at it, and you could still probably get the galaxy sword well before finishing the mines.
