Im no pro but id start with different wood block for the roof. Mangrove might look ok. You can even outline the roof with a darker shade like dark oak or spruce.
If you want to stick with the orange, maybe do the large sections of walls in terrecotta, and leave the trim as wood. It would give it some depth and make the trim stand out nice.
