Does anyone else notice a resemblance here?

So recently, I got back into playing a different voxel game, called Veloran, and I encountered this really familiar looking monster called the Wendigo. I've seen this thing long before Caves and Cliffs released, but I hadn't noticed the resemblance till now. (Possibly because the last time I played this was before Caves and Cliffs) is there a possibility the Warden was inspired by this? Veloran is not a well known game, I doubt it's on Mojang's radar, and I know they've prioritized mob originality recently, but the resemblance is almost too uncanny. Exact same colors, similar size, antlers, ribcage, organic fungal texture, ect.
