A few years ago, I created a custom flat world only for one reason: get better at building in Minecraft

I have learned a lot about building through this one world. I went from not understanding anything other than basic tips and tricks to becoming obsessed with terrain and buildings. No matter what, if I ever got an idea I would write it down and build it in this world as a way to learn and understand how to build with art and photography in mind.

It became a comfort world for me, even if I was feeling low, I could pop on and build random things or explore what I've already built and get my motivation back, but now it's sadly gone due to corruption when I was backing things up, and I made the mistake of not making more backups..

I'm not entirely upset, it's just sad that I won't be able to see this world again, but I'll be happy to make a new one

Use you experience you earned to create an even better world THANKS to that old world

I’m so sorry for your loss, those builds look beautiful! May I ask what shaders are you using?

  3. Have you tried opening the world in MC Edit? Maybe you can copy the chunks over to a non-corrupted world.
