I think now the true nights edge costs 20 of each of the souls from the mechanical bosses whilst true Excalibur costs 24 clorophite bars and to combine them you need a broken hero’s sword
This is inaccurate, you craft the true knights edge with mech souls, and the true excalibur by combining it with chlorophyte. Then you use the broken hero's sword to combine them.
When I wanted to make the zenith and I miss the copper sword I said the whore that I give birth and create a new character I put ls sword in a chest of my world between with the other character who had everything and I got the zenith
Sadly (not so sad) the Recipe changed for terra blade instead of broken hero swords you now need all souls from each of the mechanics bosses to make true nights edge and for true Excalibur you now need 24 chlorophyte bars and lastly to make terrablade you now need broken hero sword since it's post plantera its only really use for golem and cultist and once you beat the solar pillar its pretty much useless cuz you got a much better weapon

old recipe though! True Nights Edge: Nights Edge + 30 of each mechanical soul. True Excalibur: excalibur + 24 Chlorophyte. Terra Blade: true night's edge and true excalibur + broken hero sword
You use souls for true night edge and a Brocken hero sword for tearablade
