How can the Hand of Creation be a Post-Goblin item if the Treasure Magnet is a Post-Skeletron item?

Maybe there is some type of technique I am not understanding. Is the reason it's not Post-Skeletron because you can sometimes outrun the dungeon guardian for long enough to find a shadow key?

Also, there is no flair that represents a question or clarification on the game-wiki or mechanics. I think that there should be a flair for people who are asking questions centering around game mechanics and accessory stacking. The wiki says the Greedy Ring doesn't stack with any of its constituent parts, but fails to clarify on the Coin Ring page whether the Coin Ring stacks with either the Lucky Coin or the Gold Ring. Sorry if any of that seems too much of a nitpick, I just personally think it's important to have these things as concrete information you can refer to.

Edit: I just wanted to add on that if we are to assume that dungeon items such as shadow keys are obtainable pre-skeletron, then that would create another contradiction in the wiki stating the Night's Edge is post-skeletron.

  1. You can realistically kill skeletron before ever finding a goblin, but you can’t make it without a goblin.

  2. Interesting-Area-523 on

you need the tinkerers workshop to craft it which can only be obtained after the goblin army is defeated
the treasure magnet can technically be obtained pre-skeletron because you can find a wooden chest/break pots in the dungeon to get a golden key which you can unlock gold chests with to get a shadow key, although you have to repeatedly throw yourself in the dungeon while theres dungeon guardians so its possible but difficult
