Saw the little mushroom pixels on the floor so figured id throw a mushroom log there and see if it would work and it did! Happened the next day too.
Now clearly a wine setup would be more efficient, but if you dont have a lot of trees around in your farm, decent spot to have some mushroom growth.

Mushroom logs work even if they don’t have a tree nearby. Trees allow the log to produce more mushrooms, and mushrooms of different types
they work indoors generally, the perfection speedrun uses them indoors. Even gets the rain bonus.
