So I tried to introduce Minecraft to my niece (8y/o) and this is a bit of her first time playing! (on my phone)
1. House she made very recently. Amazing color palette and structure.
2. The interior of the house, very cozy. She decorated the left side and her little sister (4) chose the decor of the right side.
3. The yard. Yes we spent an hour naming ALL the animals.
4. Her first structure the day I let her try the game. Lovely shape and lots of animals as u see. She spawned 20 camels but they jumped out. I showed her the jeb_ sheep and she totally LOVED it.
5. She wanted to see the aquatic animals. You might be wondering why there's a wall of dried coral. Well, guess what we learned: axolotls eat tropical fish (she spawned like 3 hundred of them. She loves fish). She made a wall thinking that it would stop the animals from leaving the "temporary pond" but yeah, frogs can jump as well and turtles can move out of water. PLUS the axolotls had already killed all the fish 🙁
6. Screenshot of the inside of the water because I think it's very cute how she decorated it.
That's all! She loved the game and has it now on her tablet. Makes me very nostalgic and happy for her to try Minecraft (at least the creative mode only for now)!
I obviously helped her out for the constructions since playing on phone can be a bit tedious but she chose everything in general. I just suggested her stuff like "don't you think this needs more lighting" or "do you want to name the animals" lol. She spent a lot of time choosing the blocks and the animals and I hope she'll enjoy the game as much as I do 😀
