  1. Oh, dont know how i should feel about making more and more items easily craftable without any effort. Especially without adding items that are hard to craft.

  2. The only thing I'm sad about is that Name Tags are craft able. Don't get me wrong, it's very useful for them to be craft able. But I don't know, anytime I went to a structure and saw a name tag in a chest, I was always happy because, if you wanted a name tag, then finding it in a chest would be like finding gold. Now that feeling is gone. And yes I know they still spawn in chest still and you don't have to craft them, but I feel like the magic is gone now because you can just craft it. I hope they don't make other rare things craft able because I feel like Minecraft is going to lose the element of exploration and finding rare things.

But as for the drop in general, like I said before with all of the other drops, it's just mid. Nothing really ground breaking.

  3. Locking mob age maybe not, but I could definitely see them increasing the growth time in general (maybe they can slightly scale the models as they grow up?)

  4. Y'all remember when updates added a ton of content to nether, made oceans better or completely overhauled villages instead of… Retexturing baby mobs?

  5. BABIESSSSS I hope the new models are a lead in for allowing us to keep forever babies without them growing up 🤞Maybe its just this snapshot but I feel like that would tie in as the main aspect of the drop really nicely.

  6. I feel like this provides a good look into their new drop update system. The high consistency, smaller updates definitely seems to make the developers happy, and was kinda Notch's plan for the game back in the beginning until he got bored of it. With a broader scope, and no clear vision, it always allows the developers something to focus on, theres more consistent bug fixes and clarity changes, and they dont disappoint by falling short of player expectation. I think the new drop update system will work well for both players and devs and am excited to see what they accomplish this year

  7. I can imagine them at mojang trying out different options, going "hold-on, let me try cube baby chicken". Scribble scribble. "Yup. That's it. We achieved peak cuteness and visual comedy. Go home everyone !"

  8. I fo admit. Rabbits were always so skittish and difficult to see. Do them being turned into the equivalent of hares is supportive of gameplay overall

  9. I know it's easy to say "OMG SO CUTE"

this is fundamentally a total nothingburger of an update. The craftable nametag is FAR more interesting to me than baby animals. We already had those, they were always underwhelming, frankly I honestly think they still are. It kinda feels like Mojang are scrambling for anything to keep attention now.

Drops just don't do it for me, honestly.

  10. The baby animals are so cute! The lamb is a little freaky to me though lol idk why. The new rabbit models look fantastic!! I'm definately going to get a few to keep as pets now

  11. this makes me SO EXCITED YAAAAAAA the babies are SO cute!! and the new animations from the rabbit make me wonder if theyre gonna re-do all of the animations. it reminds me a lot of Fresh Animations. I wonder if theyll be toggleable?

  12. I'm mixed. A lot of the texture work doesn't feel very minecraft-y, though that's been the general trend over the past couple of years. I'm also just not larticularly fond of the single pixel eyes or the giant rabbits.
