I just came across the most confusing Play Store recommendation ever.
The problem:
"Top Heroes" (a 4X strategy game) uses a thumbnail that looks exactly like Stardew Valley for its promo.
The false promise:
Charming farm pixels, cozy atmosphere, smooth little animations…
The reality:
Boom! It's battles, empire management, and endless microtransactions.
I'm 99% sure ConcernedApe didn't sell the rights for this.
This raises two questions:

Who fell for it and downloaded hoping to plant potatoes? Where did you see it? Play Store, Reddit, TikTok?

What's the worst misleading ad you've seen on app stores? (I'll start with the fake Among Us battle royale)
Crazy that no one's mass-reported this to Play Store yet. Do you think Google doesn't care or is it just "business as usual"?

CA has stated before doesn’t care if people use his IP. Heck, Etsy is full of it
Also, the logo of it looks like its ripped from a Nintendo magazine. Zelsa is a priestess, link, and lonk?
AI is gonna crank out terrible rip off games so fast.
“New heights” I mean it is annoying that this happens but someone posts a screenshot of an ad for a mobile game stealing Stardew art like every other day here.
