now that mojang seems to be working on the villager experiments & fixing them up again, how would you fix the librarian???
idc ab biome-locked enchantments, but limiting the enchantment tiers is complete and utter bu— cocoa beans
we need the ability to get fully leveled up enchantments, not just "oh here's unbreaking 2 after all ur work lol, you aint ever getting unbreaking 3"
They should make swamp villages if they’re going to lock an important trade behind it’s villager variant
They could have just fully revamped the item durability and how Anvil repairing works (removing "too expensive" bullcrap at least), why do you think mending is a MUST HAVE in just about every minecraft world?
random idea, what if they just make it so that mending doesn’t show up in a world until you beat the ender dragon or something, that would make going to the end and getting the credits feels more impactful and has a real reward to the player other than the egg as a trophy

I think the villager we have is good enough, because I don't want it to complicated, I think other people just like it simple.
If they do this. 1. Just don’t update and move to Hytale (I love Minecraft so much but fuck Microsoft). Make sure they lose players and are forced to either add a toggle or remove it 2. Modders will make a tiny mod to fix this bullshit

They really are keen on killing Minecraft. Whatever. Hytale is looking quite interesting without the Microsoft stupidity.
They really need to rework enchanting if they want the non-max-level enchantments to be worth anything. If I try to make a perfect helmet and my anvil tells me it is too expensive again, I will reforge it into a toilet.

Villagers are already kind of grindy. Getting a decent Trading Hall done takes multiple days. If they don't give good booky anymore, I would probably just get one Mending Villager and skip the rest.
i hate the idea of them changing the librarian trades that’s already painful enough. they need to improve the enchanting table it’s such a bad gamble so i still avoid it at all costs. also wish they would introduce a new type of villager who can breed livestock mobs esp with the baby mob updates
I think The problem is EXISTING VILLAGERS in peoples worlds, if they implement new rules will it change existing villagers already locked trades?
