Here's a veteran Terraria player from before version 1.3, too:

– Hardmode melee still isn't really melee.

– Summoner is a melee 2 now (😂).

– People only like EoL for the drops. (and/or because woman 👀)

– At least a 1/4 of the new items in Terraria are either unused or forgotten.

Imo the video is a very opinionated take that ignores what reverting to 1.3 would do to not only summoners but anyone new to the game who doesn't know over 1000 recipes without the wiki. Even then, you would also lose the bestiary, secret seeds, easier transportation around the map (without teleporters), journey mode, some extra character customization options, etc. Also leaving the game to modders after reverting the game would completely remove the point of playing the base game because of all the convenient features being removed.
