HELP ! Unable to Equip Items in Accessories Menu – Better Minecraft [FORGE] 1.20.1

For some reason, I can’t equip any accessories through the Accessories screen (Aether gloves for example). The only workaround I’ve found is putting the item in my hotbar and right-clicking it, but it doesn’t show up in the Accessories menu, so I can’t unequip it.
